I just had a thought...I know...you heard the grinding all the way across the board...but, anyway, my kids at school are doing a donation drive for Rosie at Southside Animal Shelter that burned last month (she lost 40 animals, mostly cats if you didn't know). Anyway, wouldn't it be cool if we could get Pet Talkers to meet at the shelter or somewhere else in Indy and all make donations??? I'm planning on going down on the 21st to drop off the kids' donations if anyone is interested, let me know!

I am interested but its a bit far :( :(

Maybe I can send a little. I would like to send a lot but Peka is a walking medical problem and the bills are stacking up :(

I'm going to be a little busy on the 21st...... :o . But I hope you can get a group together, Molly. Wouldn't that be wonderful to show support in person? Sure wish I were closer and of course, wish it would be another day.

Well GEE Logan...where are your priorities?? <EG> :p Geez the 2 people I NEVER thought I would see are the 2 that have responded first. Aly, I would say you too have enough on your plate, but I'm sure that Rosie would appreciate it.

I wish I could, Molly, but I'm busy on the 21st too. (some friends and I adopted a needy family and we're delivering the food and gifts then).

But keep me informed if you go out there again!

Molly,

Good idea, but I won't be able to make it then either.
My son is coming in to town from California for our family
get together on Christmas. It's the only week of the year
when I can have both my children in town at the same time.
I'm really looking forward to it. :D We go to dinner, shop
see movies, and get to hang out together.:D

Guess what, I saw Rosie last Monday afternoon at PetsMart.
In the middle of Smokey's class, we all hear puppy noises
coming from near the class area. I looked around and there
was Rosie with an armfull of pups she was bringing in for
adoption.Sharpiae(sp) and chow mixs. Adorable & very vocal.:D

Very cool. It looks as if we're on our own for this trip. Oh well, just a thought.
