I agree with Bengalz -- Berty, you remind me so much of Eve and Pinot! What a lovely girl you are with your grey tabby markings and your big green eyes! You are quite the busy girl -- keeping an eye on your woodpecker friend, playing with a pen or piece of paper, su-PURR-vising household work. Then you rest on the sofa with your doggie-sibling and be beautiful! How smart of you to check the humans' mealtime for anything that would be to your liking; I'd be happy to share my dinner with you! Happy, happy Cat of the Day to you, beautiful Berty! Oh, dearest Berty, what a beautiful girl you are! Your coloring is exquisite.. that lovely pale grey tabby patterning with a tiny bit of white trim and just enough touches of orange here and there that qualify you in my eyes as a calico/tortoiseshell.. or maybe that's just the reflection of the orange blanket there. Whatever, you are gorgeous! And you have just the sweetest face, too, with those beautiful big pale-green eyes, so interested in what is going on around you, as Barbiecat pointed out.

And not only are you gorgeous, you are a delightful companion for your family. And what a wonderful family, including not only humans but also your woodpecker friend outside the window you greet each day and your new Rhodesian Ridgeback doggie pet who sits on the couch with you. You and they all have so much fun together! You play fetch and soccer with crumpled-up paper balls, you help your humans with chores like making the bed and brushing teeth (watch out for the toilet when you jump up to help!), and checking out that all-important food. And isn't that great, you having your 4th of July party and making all your guests feel so welcome and letting them play with you! You've only been in your PURRRMANENT, FURRREVER home for a month! But, as you say, " everyone already loves me and I am fitting right in for a long happy life here!"
