When it comes to picking the right spruce? for the Christmas decorations, Fister can be very "helpful"! ;)

But first, he wants to play in it. What's most popular is, if I hide a ball of yarn, and he has to dig in to get it out.

Oh yes, he's having a lot of fun there! During the night, he will sit and watch it and attack it, as if there was a mouse hiding, so I left it standing for a few days.

I think that Emily and Fister are both trying to help Mom. Emily "helped" me put up the Christmas lights and silver netting this weekend. (I now have silver sparkles all over the apartment and probably will be finding them next July :D :D )

Back to the "jungle" for our beloved Fister! All the spruce probably takes him back to his kittenhood.
Perhaps "Spruce" could be a kitty cologne?????

You go, Fister! I'm so glad you feel up to decorating after your adventure with the white coats this fall. Have you made your list for Santa yet? You can use me for a character reference if you need 'proof' you were a good boy this year. Any kitty who went through that surgery and still wants to 'help' around the house is a good kitty.:D

It looks like he's actually putting the yarn on the tree in that picture.

Way 2 go, Fister ... you enjoy that tree! What a pretty kitty you are, and a great "tree picker" too!
Tucker enjoys climbing up the middle of our tree, have you tried that yet, Fister? hehe

Fister you are a good Danish designer: red wool goes very well with the green tree (and an orange kitty even better):)

randi, I was going to say, if you decorate the tree after you have had it for a few days, Fister will begin climbing it all over again. I have a cat tree that I built for my 'kids, but they do not play much in it. But you can be rest assured, that if I did buy a tree they would begin to climb it -all 11 of them!:)

I agree with Barbara, orange kitty goes very well with a green tree. Juni has a little orange in her fur too, so, I guess, she'll go well with the Xmas tree too.

What a good helper you are Fister! And it's so nice to see you feeling good enough after your sir jury to help Mom and Dad with the Christmas decorations. I agree with everyone too, green tree, red yarn and orange Fister make a very tasteful combo. ;) :)

Yes, doesn't green suit Fister! LOL! I have to dissapoint you all, though - it's not a tree, only materiel for decorations - you know, the ones with a candle in the middle - I may post a picture. ;)

I like your candle Randi! That is a really neat idea! We used to have those when we were younger...a count down until we turned 18. :D
And yes, it was neat to recognize all those cards on your table! :)

Thanks for the compliment, Lut! :) It's easy, you just get a real Christmas tree and let Maya and Inka help tearing it apart. ;) :D No, you can buy the fir (spruce?) in bunches and you get a tree stump or something and some clay to put on it. Then you find all your Christmas things from last year and put it on all the way around in betweeen the spruce - leave space in the middle for a candle! I'm sure you can make a beautiful one! ;)
Kelly, I usually get a nicer candle, but couldn't find one this year!

Lovely idea Randi - reckon I might 'pinch' it!! Looks so good.
Don and I were just discussing the pros and cons of putting a tree up - with these three and their mountaineering capabilities we reckon we might not bother this year!! Last year was bad enough - and putting the tree together every morning is soooooo boring!! May be I'll just festoon ornaments around the house out of cat reach!
Your sideboard looked lovely with all the Pet Talk cards. :) :)

The pics of Fister are great and the end result sure is beautiful. :) I also love your Christmas card display. I was even able to recognize the card that I sent you. :)
