Emoticons won't work anymore

I noticed the last couple of days when I try to use an emoticon ===> nothing happens. I'm using Internet Explorer 9 on a Windows 7 platform. This is the first time I've noticed this. It seems only to happen in Cat Memorial.

I just tried in Cat Memorial, added a :love: to my post in there and it worked ... anyone else having any trouble? :confused:

This happens to me a lot when I try to put an emoticon in the memorial section. I then have to go back and click on the reply to thread section again and it'll usually work that time. I also have windows 7 but with IE 10. The other day no emoticons worked for me in any of the threads so I just had to do it by hand. Later in the day they worked again so I don't know what was happening.
