I'm pretty sure my kitty has made ALL these sounds just in the past few days........:D :p He's a compulsive talker and apparently fluent in many languages too! Indonesian: ngeong = a meow while licking his chops..... Korean: (n)ya-ong = a meow ended by a yawn.......... Thai: meow meow (with high tone) = just saw a bird or squirrel outside the window......:rolleyes: :D

Great list !! And you are right , my kitties say "miauw" , which is Dutch !!!

they also speak an unknown language (not on list ) ; sounds like :"MAW ? MAW?" it means : "whats up ?" or "Can I get some food mommy ?" Good that i am multi-lingual ...;) :D :rolleyes:

Juni says it most of the time in Romanian - miau, spelled like German (I guess, she would enjoy a talk with Tigris and Filou ;) if their German and Romanian sound the same).
But, as I said before, I am a translator and I speak with her in Romanian, Russian and English, some French from time to time and I like to call her Katze, like in German. OF COURSE, she understands everything, 'cause she answers back :D
She must know some Japanese too, but it's not from me. She's getting along very well with Pikachiu as you can see

Ha - I LOVE the picture of Juni "kicking Pickachiu's butt"! And look at her ears in the battle position - she's taking no prisoners! Her color is so pretty; I like the gold undertones.

My Found Felines say MEEEOOOW but I think that its short for FEEDMENOW!!
and I am misinterpreting!
The fact that their food bowls are empty should have given me a clue!!!:confused::confused:

My Sparkle says: Ne-OW? When she is hungry and wants me to put food in her dish! LOL, "will you do it NOW mom?" Not yet, Sparkle. (pause) Ne-OW? "Sparkle, hush, I'm busy on the phone!" (pause) Ne-OW? Okay, OK!!! :D
