Dearest little Monroe, what an utterly adorable young Tuxedo lady you are! You have such a pretty face and lovely fur with such a nice Tuxedo pattern. And what a long, LOOOOONG tail you have!

What a good girl you are, going for outings with your harness and leash. I'm so glad your Purrrson was able to get you to come out from under the car seat! You and she/he have clearly had some dramatic experiences in your life together, but it was all worth it, wasn't it. You and he/she have some delightful times together, don't you.. you curling up in the sunshine, going for car rides and walks in the park, chatting when you have something to say, playing fetch, being snuggled and carried like a baby, and welcoming him/her home with licks and purrs. What a wonderful home full of love you both share!

Monroe is special because she saved me just as much as I saved her. From Day 1, when it took me two hours to get her out from underneath the passenger seat in my car, I knew together we were going to be the stuff of legends. All the 3 a.m. feedings and the litter training drama was worth it when I see her curled up in a patch of sunshine. Despite being a cat who loves rides in the car and going on walks in the park, Monroe also plays fetch and she even talks when she's peeved. She is a cat that wants to be snuggled with and carried around like a baby one minute, then is ready to kill your hand if it moves the next. No matter how bad my day is, I know that the second I walk in the door, I will be greeted by this seven-pound killer with licks and purrs!


Miss Monroe, what a beautiful girl you are! Your coat looks so plush and soft to pet! I like your black and white markings and your cute pink paw pads :) I would love to give you a snuggle, or play the "kill your hand" game with you! I hope you are having a very special day of conversations with your person, taking a walk in the park, and giving your person the best greeting of the day with purring and kitty kisses! Yes, you and your mom are the "stuff of legends," and as is so often the case, for you and your mom/dad it was a case of mutual rescue, two spirits reborn, two hearts healed!
