I must take except exception to the whole premise launched in the text accompanying Geno Bambino as "Cat of the Day." Have I not made myself clear regarding this matter? The best cat in the world is black and at this very moment happens to be lying in his box - no more than four feet from where I sit - licking his paws.

Now that I have cleared up this matter, I will heap my praises upon the little bambino, Geno, who is indeed a fine cat and who might, in fact, were it not for the presence of the black cat and his four buddies that also live under this roof, be the best cat in the world - although I can already hear the voices of countless misguided posters rising up to vehmenantly proclaim that honor (black cat be da----d) for the felines who live with them.

ahhhh - but Geno the Bambino Butler is beautiful beyond gorgeous and even exquisite and lucky be the Duchess so privileged as to have him for a playmate, and lucky be the human who has him for a best buddy, and thanks to that generous person for sharing Geno Bambino's bright eyes with us.
