Being that the Southern Tier is once again under a flood watch, anyone up for a canoe trip?
Canoe guess who's going to win the Super bowl?
Wings and beer on the bar, Brats on the grill with all the fixins.
Sit back in your chair and watch the flood waters rise (again)....

Coach Harbaugh's team is going to win ! I wonder if the Harbaugh brothers' parents have compared stories with Eli and Peyton Manning's parents about what it is like to have two of their children achieve success on such a high level.
LH, it's a really cold night in Chicago and it's snowing. Could I just have decaf coffee, please. I'll have a beer with y'all on game day, though.

Decaf? No problem. Cream? Sugar? We aim to please!
It's warm here right now, but it's going to be cold by morning. It warmed up enough this morning that the top 1/2" of ground was thawed, which made getting the truck down back to get the trash to go to da dump an adventure. Mud on top of ice= traction? What traction?

Umm...I think there's confusion in the bar. We have Canoe Thursday 518 and Superbowl Thursday 519 on the same week....

Has the Edster decided that keyboards are evil and belong nowhere near a lap?
Silly people, laps are for cats!
On another warmer note, I was just looking at the indycar schedule for this year, and the Pocono 400 (indycar's first visit to Pocono since 1989) just happens to fall in one of my vacation weeks. Gee, I wonder how that happened?

I need to eat a healthy breakfast after watching that game last night.

How could I forget International Pancake day?
Sounds like lunch to me......now I just have to convince myself to get out from under a warm cat and dog.

I finally got the Edster to lie down between my thigh and the armrest - his head is resting on the edge of the keyboard.
If i get up, I loose my spot.....
For pancakes? I'll take the chance.:)

LH - there's a diner in Watertown that does Ployes - (buckwheat pancakes) only when I went there, I ordered a "stack" thinking they'd be silver-dollar size like Aunt Adrian made them (and instructed us they were properly made) But they were 6-7 inches across! Needless to say, I did not finish my "stack!'
But ployes with warm maple syrup, and some with blueberry jam ... yum!!!!

Sorry,
But sometimes you have to follow your heart and your stomach?:D

The dangerous thing for me to do is to buy a box of anything and eat until I get tired of the batch....then I go for ever until the urge strikes me again.
I buy more and find that I have a package in the fridge, pantry or cupboard already open..:eek:
