I saw a post where members were posting cute terms used to describe our kitties.... and someone mentioned Frito Feet!!!! I am not crazy afterall! Please tell me this term is used because kitty feet smell like corn chips!!!!!! My Grace and Tucker's paws do... just love to smell them! LOL!!!! My hubby thinks I'm crazy!!!

Frito feet??? :eek: Okay then. Have you sought therapy for this little (ahem) problem of yours?? :D

My cats all have different scents. I love sticking my face in Mollie Rose's fur. She has this scent that is indescribable. I'll bet I can tell every one of my cats blindfolded just by their scents. But smelling like corn chips is not one of them. Could it be the brand of kitty litter you use? (okay, so I went over and sniffed my cats paws. so what????)

Oh no Kim, you are one of them!:) I think it was Logan who started the whole Frito feet thread about her dogs and there are pages and pages of it.
You can do a search to find it. I told you that you belong here, you fit right in with the rest of us.;)

Like Donna, I am sure I can tell my two in the night from the smell. Tigris is a little like cinnamon and Filou a little like curry powder.

But after the frito thread I really managed to smell their feet (they didn't appreciate that too much and asked: Are we smelling at your feed??? And I said: Yes, you do!!!) and they have a special smell which is not fritos.

Actually, it was Sandra (tatsxxx11) who started that classic thread! Bunnies have fur-covered feet, though, so they just smell like the rest of her! Not that I am allowed to touch her feet ...

My cats feet have an odor, but it isn't fritos!!!!!!

But I really think it is more of a dog thing. My cats feet just don't smell like fritos. But the dogs at work, do (yes, I smelled feet at work on stranger's dogs)

LOL!! Andy and I call Kia, "Frito Feet" quite often and affectionately.

Mom asked why over the weekend and I told her that Kia's paws smell like fritos! She looked at me like I was NUTS!

But said she was curious, took Kia's paw and a big whiff and said, THEY DO!!!

LOL!!

We don't smell the cats feet though.... ;) :D
