My widdle wobin is gone. :(

A few days ago she took a turn for the worse. She had so many issues I really have no idea which one finally reared its ugly head, but I think it was her kidneys. We left one morning and she was perfectly fine. When we came home that evening she barely had enough strength to lift her head. I had to force feed her and force water into her. She eventually perked up a little, but in my heart I knew it was all to no avail. This morning she seemed a bit perkier, but when she went pee pee it was all blood. I knew she was uncomfortable and the blood made me think she was also in pain, so I immediately called the vet and took her in.

As usual, it was quick and peaceful. I told her that her meowmy and daddy loved her and would miss her terribly. When I told her her brother would also miss her, I swear I heard her say "yeah, right " ;)

I also told her to find Phred and he would be happy to show her around the rainbow bridge and introduce her to Tubby & Peanut.

Rest in peace my sweet little monkey head girl...... :(

I'm so sorry Debbie. It's not good when the 2nd generation of kitties start off to the rainbow bridge.
Remember the good times.

I am so very sorry. What a beautiful girl. And so much love there.

God bless. Robin is at the Rainbow Bridge now, healthy and whole again, where she will greet you with joy and welcome you Home.. One Fine Day. Love is eternal, and you are all together always.

My deepest sympathy to you and all who love her and grieve her.

I don't think that there is anyone here who doesn't understand the incredible pain we feel when we lose one of our wonderful pets.

Debbie, I am so sorry, I know you loved Robin so much.

Robin, such a pretty girl with robin's blue eyes,
Long fluffy coat, much to our surprise,
you found your way into our lives, in to our hearts besides.

Now you've taken a journey, to see the other side
A place where you will be whole again
And sit in regal splendor, beholding all around you,
As you survey with pride
All those who arrived before you, and those you've left behind.

Do let mom and dad know you are ok, sweet girl.

I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you as you cope with this transition.

You had said how sick she was but we all hope our babies will be miracles. :( I recall the story of how you and Terry adopted her  and how she settled in and sort of accepted her brother. ;) But she was a Daddy's girl, and I send hugs to both of you and a small extra one for Terry.

Play happy at the Bridge, sweet beautiful Robin!

I am so sorry. Robin was so lucky that she could spend her last years beloved and spoiled with you. But for you it is especially hard to lose her after such a short time.

I'm so sorry to hear this. :( I know how much you both loved Robin, she was such a cutie and very beautiful. You gave her some wonderful years filled with loving and I hope that will be a comfort to you. Phred will surely show her around at the RB.

Rest in peace, dear Robin.

?..... it is especially hard to lose her after such a short time.

Yes, she came too us on Feb. 4, 2007, so that's just a bit over 5 1/2 years with us. She really changed a lot in that short time and really came out of her shell. I contribute that to all the attention and smoochies her daddy showered on her. Right away she knew she was special.

Now that its been just a bit over 24 hours without her, the full impact is hitting us. It's unbelievable what a big impact such a little creature can have on your life. Even though Jackie is still here, it's amazing how quiet the house is - nobody demanding attention as soon as Terry sits down, nobody climbing on the counter demanding some of whatever kind of food I might be making, nobody underfoot while I was mixing up her nummies, nobody yelling at Jackie because he accidentally bumped into her, nobody hogging the middle of the bed......:-(

Jackie is perfectly happy with his hard food, so I don't have to spend time mixing food up, cleaning up old food she didn't eat, planning what to feed her next that she might or might not eat. She drank much more water than Jackie does so she made way more pee biscuits that I now don't have to clean up....

Thank you all so much. The Pet Talk family is always so comforting.

I miss her sweet little face so much.....

Debbie,

I am so sorry to hear about Robin's passing but it did sound as though she was ready. It is always a heart breaker to have a beloved animal put to sleep. BUT, it also makes great sense to not allow a pet to suffer until the bitter end.

Rest in peace, Robin.

Yes, do look up Phred and all the other kiddies up there. I bet Graemer and Gabriel will want to play with you and cuddle, as they were cuddle bugs when here on earth.

Rest easy girl. You were loved for sure.

Sas and all her happy campers!

Such a beautiful lady. The last photo brought me, too, to tears; the pain shows so obviously. I am so, so sorry you're suffering; try to hold on to the thought that Robin isn't: the pain is all yours.

Oh, Debbie and Terry, I am so sorry. 5 1/2 years is way too short of a time to love on such a beauty. Sleep gently, pretty Robin, you will be much missed.

Not only will Tubby and Peanut be there to greet you Robin, but Tubby's Two Namesakes named in honor of him Tubby Two Angel and Ebony Beau Tubster Angel will be there as well bearing your wings of Silver and Gold.
You have had the life that we bet that all of Our Cats would love Robin, not only having Great Guardians but a chance to travel and explore your country while most Cats have a back yard at most.
We know that you will be a Great Guide Robin to some interesting place as you have first paw knowledge of so many places , and that you will have a special place picked out for Your Loved Ones and your Cats who have passed on ahead of you , where you will all be reunited in love.
One Fine Day:love:

Robin's ashes arrived in the mail yesterday. :(

She had her favorite hidey hole - we call it Robin's House. She is in it now, and will be there until we get back to Wisconsin in May, then we'll bury her with Tubby, Peanut and my mom's Cranker and other passed/past pets.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your beautiful little Robin! I remember when you got her and how happy we all were. I know how empty the house feels, mine still feels so empty and quiet since Boo and Amy went on to RB. She was just SO pretty, what a girl!!!
