Hello Everybody..I am new to this site and I loved seeing and reading about Dakota (the golden retriever/standard poodle mix). I have had my own "Goodle Riever" for 7 years now. His name is Barkley and he is the greatest dog...such a sweetheart. He looks a bit like Dakota but he is white....their combo makes them truly great dogs!!

Welcome to Pet Talk, Deanna. It would be nice to see your Goldendoodle (that's what I call them) too!!! :)

I have two Golden Retrievers (no poodle) and a Yellow Labrador Retriever.

Barkley (love the name) is darling. He looks a lot like my Hannah, who is a cockapoo. She is 7 years old as well. I showed her Barkley's picture and she thought he was ever so fine. We'd both love to see more pictures of Barkley.

Welcome to Pet Talk Deanna! I am the opposite of Logan - I have a poodle (no goldens). :) Barkley is so handsome! I would love to see and hear more about him! My Bella is white like Barkley but only weighs about 40 lbs. (a smaller sized standard poodle) How much does Barkley weigh? He looks like a big boy. :) Bella says "woof, woof!"

Hello Everybody - everybody has such cute puppies :) My Barkley is def. a big boy..he is about 80lbs. But he is all baby. He thinks he is a lap dog as you can see! I would love to see more pics of Bella and Hannah - and anybody else who has doggie pics.

Oh he is just precious!!! My Bella also loves to be in my lap at all times and I can hardly fit her in! Keep those pictures coming and, if there are any Barkley stories you would like to post, I would like to read them!

Hannah says Barkley certainly is a big boy, but she likes that in a fella. Makes her 30 pounds seem rather petite. (She is hoping the love of her life, Graham, might read this and get a bit jealous.)
