Hi everyone,

I just read this article regarding the tips for product demonstrators (http://www.jobs.net/Article/CB-54-Talent-Network-Retail-Taking-the-Stage-4-Tips-for-Product-Demonstrators/). The article covers some of the important things to remember when demonstrating products, which I think is one of the most difficult kind of sales a person can do. So this article covers one point, "create a need." While I can agree that this is an extremely important part of sales, I feel like there comes a point where the need simply cannot be believed. This is what I am curious about, have you ever been convinced of the need of a product successfully? If so please tell me about how the product demonstrator did it, what were they selling you? And how did it pan out? Did they promise things they couldn't deliver? Did it go well and you're still delighted that you stopped to listen that day? Any and all comments would be appreciated!
