Well Lily, here in this house lives a little tabby cat called Kiri who must be your long lost sister. Just like you she likes to cuddle close to her mom's throat and can be very active and cuddly at the same time:)

My goodness, Lily is a charmer! I keep saying that there is something about silver gray tabbies, as Lily's description could equally apply to my Dorian Gray (yes, named for Oscar Wilde's ageless character and a former COTD.) Every time I read about these kitties the emphasis is on mischievous combined with a sense of boldness and daring. My Dorry-boy is now two years old and I have been told that he will settle down as he grows older - I sense perhaps NOT. Well, never a dull moment (or not often.) Enjoy your lovebug Lily. BTW the mug with what looks like Lily on it is awesome. :D

Thanks to all of you who left comments about my precious kitty!
It really made my day to see our little Fur-child get the adoration she deserves!
She is currently asleep atop her kitty kingdom, (an enormous climbing post that reaches the ceiling) and smiling in her kitty sleepiness down at me.
Lily was the runt of her little, and is still the size of a young cat, but won't get much bigger. She has an extra claw on her front feet, (we call floppy claws) in addition to her already extra toe and claw that makes her climbing ability EXCEPTIONAL....Not to mention the climbing she does on us... (OUCH!)
We rescued her from an overly dirty and unacceptable home full of LARGE mean dogs and tons of cats. She and her brother came with us, and my brother now owns HER brother, by the name of Persian.
