What a beauty you are:) Some cats are just not very social with people, and some are super friendly with everyone. My Mr. Jinx will run and hide under the bed anytime someone comes to the door, and he will stay there until they leave, so people who are not around here much will never see him. Then there is my Pusskin, who rolls around on the kitchen table 24 hours a day and loves any attention she can get. I noticed in the one picture of you and the other gray kitty, that there is a philodendrum (? sp) plant next to you. Tell your Momma that they are poisonous to cats if they chew on them, so please put that one up a little for safety. If there are four cats in your household, I bet there is at least one that chews on plants. And have a super great Cat of the Day today, and every day! God Bless:love:

Alma! Beautiful, plush and full of moxie! I think there is nothing as pretty as a gray kitty! It is interesting that you are referred to as "soulful..." In Spanish Alma means soul.

I'll answer some questions but in fact I'm not good at english. :/

My mom was so surprised and happy that she told all her friends of Alma being COTD!
The first picture is Alma as a kitten on a chair. On the second she's yawning. (@phesina) On the third it's in our garden with her sister Alea in the background.
I, personally, think they are looking like little mobsters. :D Alma in the front with her sister as a thug behind her. And she's saying with a smoky voice: `I'am the godmother of all Chartreux little bambina!´ :p

@ mrjinxsmomma: I'll tell my mom about the plant in her garden. But I think (after 6 years) the cats don't like this greens. :confused:
Alma isn't shy or anything. She's just... very... kittenish? She likes to run infront of me as if she wants to play tag.
