this is what some people seem to do when you find everywhere someone for some reason or another let there pets go. i wonder about this between getting a pet or letting it go and a human child... dont be crule to a heart that loves you by giving away your pet..this is just a comparision what you would not do to you child please dont do to your pet. this hits home when i see on craigslist everyday some one is giving up a pet for one reason or another.. no offense to anyone but i hate seeing animals getting dumped when it not there fault just because they give up on the poor pet for whatever reason they may have.. 20120702.0032

I remember when I volunteered at the Dearborn Animal Shelter in MI. A woman and her two SOBBING children came in with their 13 year old cat. Her kids were BEGGING her not to get rid of the cat. This woman had ice water running through her veins. Her reason for dumping the cat???? Get this...IT DIDN'T PLAY WITH HER CHILDREN ANYMORE!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad: I fostered the cat, who refused to eat or drink. I had to force feed her. I took her to the shelter's ICU unit so she could get medical treatment. Went to pick her up that Monday and was told they killed her for cage space.

Another reason PEOPLE SUCK!!!!

not everyone is wicked and to be hated as people.. after all there is you and me and a few others.. diane says cats are better than people.. diane and i have mental problems but we love our cats and i am sure there are some out there that love there pets . not everyone is wicked but most of them are it seems.. our cats rule the house.. we have a visitor come comes and want to sit where our cats are resting and he scoots them off the chair so he can sit down.. i get mad at him and make him either stand or sit on the floor and leave our cats alone.. he is a GROAD which means and epted and bumbling idiot.. man is just another animal sometimes better more often worse then those who walk on all fours who because of ther divine, spiritual and interllechual development has become the most viciouse anmimal of alll.. anton sandzor(sp) levey .. 20120702.0740

You're right.. I just got so discouraged and depressed when I read Donna's message. Sometimes I feel we are such a minority.

There are the good people here and around the world who love the critters and do all we can to help them out and be good to them. And we all need to keep doing it.

i dont get depressed but i cry alot when i see what happens to helpless pets.. .. i got real sensitive to crying for pets whe original david come missing.. one time we had 10-11 cats to make up for lost david and even found the father stray david whom we had about 8 years untill he passed.. i never healed over the loss of our original david who was an aninversary kitty. i somertimes cry for days over animals that are lost abused or neglited(sp) i worry about salmon who has a limp when she walks alittle bit.. her dob is the 19th this month she be 13 years old.. she is original david sister.. i might say to you keep your chin up.. i say that to diane.. she even has a chin propper upper you can use.. one great pain was when gizmo got killed by a dog.. i find it hard to accept dogs but they are needy animals to at times and need help just like cats.. i have gizmo's remain and david's remans and i keep them locked away where they wont get disturbed but others. i open them up and cry for the loss of the pets that we go through.. please keep helping animals get saved.. it others like you and me and donna plus others who make a differance in our lives and the lives of our dear pets...GOD BLESS YOU and your love for the animals.. you might visit whiskercity on the internet they are a rescue in wash near seattle wa. we donate to them at times.. .. sometimes on craisglist i see an animal post in need and i click best of craigslist instead of flagging it... remeber our furry friends are GOD's gift to us in aniamls form .. it says in the bible to preach the word to every creature.. it doesnt say evry person but every creature.. that includes dogsl cats birds and all animals are GOD's creatures and there is a place in heaven for them just like us people when we die we get reunited with our loved one and furry loved ones who have gone before us.. go in peace 20120702.1251

I get discouraged ALL THE TIME. Frustrated, feeling helpless every single time I go to an animal abuse trial or, turn a cat away because I just have to know when to say, "I'd like to but I can't" or become a hoarder myself.

There are some wonderful people out there, don't get me wrong. But lately, I just don't have any tolerance for the abuse or the prosecutors and judges who turn a blind eye to a very real epidemic in this country.

I've been doing animal rescue and animal activisim for a very long time. I'm burned out. I find myself mistrusting of people. I question people's ability to care for their animals.

I've heard every excuse in the book as to why people: Can't keep their pets; Can't get them spayed/neutered; Can't get them the medical attention they so need (and deserve) and to be honest, I'm just plain sick of it. If I can afford to care for MY pets, even on a fixed income, why can't they???

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ANIMAL ABUSE!!!
