View Full Version : Beautiful Wonderful dear Pierre
Your story really hit me hard. RIP you beautiful and wonderful boy. Your Mommy and Daddy are awesome parents to give you all the love and care that they gave you. RIP dear one and HUGS to Mommy and Daddy:(
 Tears came to my eyes as I read Pierre's story. The fact that he survived his jump and the complications afterwards to see 13 years old is amazing. What a beautiful sweet lil' dog...:love::love:

What a wonderful Tribute to your beloved Pierre. It sounds as if he really was a special little dog and I am sorry for your loss. You loved him enough to let him go and he is no longer in pain. Thank you for sharing his story. I'm glad Pierre was DOTD!

Thank you so much for your kind words and so sorry for the delay in responding.
Sir Oliver Pierre will forever be in our hearts and minds. He was a special little man. Ive had many dogs in my life and although each one had a special place in my heart, this little guy left me with a wonderful lesson learned, that I will never forget and will forever be changed for the better because of it. Its like when you meet someone and you have a special connection and communication is never an issue. With Pierre he always made known what he wanted and I always understood. Love was all he really wanted and he got all of that and more from us. RIP my dear one...see you again soon my love.

Thank you so much for the kind words and yes he was a special little guy. Letting him go was the hardest thing ive ever had to do. My husband and I were not prepared to make that decision and we were heartbroken over having to finally make it. I'm so grateful he got DOTD too. God Bless

Thank you so much for the kind words and yes he would have been 13, May 6th. We feel so honored to have had him so long, he was always healthy and was up til that point. We called him the Bestes' One because he was. The day I brought him home from the pet store he was instantly housebroken. We never had to scold him over making mistakes on the floor, he was very smart and knew when he needed to go. Later in life only when he was sick did he make a mistake, but only if he was sick, which was few and far between. We felt so lucky to have a dog that was so smart and always made us feel he was grateful for our love. What a sweet humble little guy he was.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and blessings on Pierre. He was a special and wonderful little guy who gave lots of love. The night before his death I was rocking him as I did many nights during his illness, with tears falling down my face he looked up at me with his loving eyes and licked my tears. It was as if he understood what was about to happen and was letting me know it was ok and he was ready to go. He was a little fighter and loved life which made it even tougher to made that decision. This little guy left me with a learned lesson of love that has forever changed me for the better. Animals are so special, they have little personalities that are so amazing, it breaks my heart to hear of animals being abused. They are defenseless and helpless and never should be used as someones punching bag. Thanks again God Bless you all:love:
