Hi Crosby! Happy Dog of the Day to you, you sweet little man! Actually, "cute" doesn't come close to doing you justice...you're precious beyond words, and your photos simply heart melting! Those huge, soulful, brown eyes of yours could win over the hardest of hearts! I'm so, so very happy that you were sprung from those awful conditions you were living in, sweetheart, and we give great thanks to your wonderful family for going the extra mile, literally, to welcome you home!! (My heart broke when I read of the abuse you suffered, what those boys had done to your fur.:( ) But as they say, living well is the best revenge, and oh, what a wonderful, carefree, love filled life you are living there on Peaceful Pine Lane!:D You're a furry angel, Crosby, and your family so very blessed to have a pup as special as you in their lives, bringing joy and laughter and love to all their days!:)
Enjoy your much deserved day of honor, sweetheart, being treated to all your BIG heart desires, and more!:)
Lots of love and hugs and kisses to you, precious Crosby!:love::love:

Hiya, Crosby! What a handsome fella you are, and my goodness, it sounds like you KNOW it too! I so enjoyed reading about your fun life now and the fantastic things you get to do with your family. Plus, it sounds like you have done an excellent job of training them to meet YOUR demands, ha haaa.
So sorry about that first family, very glad you got out of there to a grand place. HAPPY DAY, Crosby!
Well...other than crashing into walls while fetching, which can be dangerous :( - you have what seems to be a good life.
May everyday be DOTD for you, Crosby!

Crosby, you remind me of my first-ever dog, Tammy. She was a blonde with red eyelashes. I was eight when she joined our family which was my parents, two older sisters, only brother, me, baby sister plus our two cats. I love Tammy to this day and dream of her many nights. She was so precious to me then and always will be.
Crosby, congratulations on being chosen Dog of the Day on this Sunday, April 22nd, 2012. You are a handsome boy and I'm sure the love of everyone in your home. Your family is so fortunate to have you in their lives and I'm sure you love them as much as they do you.
True-blue Canadians and hockey fans we love your name: for Sidney Crosby # 87 of the Pittsburgh Penguins! Crosby is a mighty fine hockey player and has a big heart so at our Palace, our four kitties (Norman, Felix, Baby-Rascal and the kitten Raven) and my husband -- a big-time NHL fan -- figure you must be in the Star League just like hockey Crosby.
Too bad No. 87 of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the rest of the team lost to Phildelphia Flyers in the NHL post season games which means Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are out of the race for The Stanley Cup (or as we call it in Montreal, Quebec, Canada "La Coupe Stanley"). Penguins last won The Stanely Cup in season 2008–09 (the 3rd cup in their history).

To Crosby's humans and all who own or are owned by dogs:
I would like you to read this.
In 1995 a pebble on a highway hit my windshield and cracked it. I had to have it replaced. You can't imagine how thankful I was that our dog, Bobby was not at the time with her head out of the window. When I told our Veterinarian what happened to my windshield, she told me had the pebble hit Bobby in her eye, it would have been best scenario, lost eye; worst scenario the death of Bobby had the pebble lodged in her brain.
Our Beagle love, Bobby never, ever was allowed to put her head out of a moving car window ever again.
Live long, happy and healthy, dear Crosby! You are a very beautiful dog.
