What happens to "saved" replies??

I was wondering how one retrieves a reply that is started, but the system times out before it is posted? I know it is being auto-saved in the system somewhere.

It is not actually saved to the server anywhere, just in your browser window, so if that has gone away, it is lost. If this happens to you a lot, you might consider typing posts in another program like Word, and save it there.
