Cuddles "cuddles!"

Last night, I'm lying in bed, on my side. Cuddles hopped up and balanced on top. This she does often, though she prefers me to be either on my stomach or my back. What was different last night? She was facing my feet. Her tail came over my shoulder, under my chin, and the tip started stroking me! Mostly under my chin and along my jaw line, but once in a while the tail tip went up over my chin, stayed below my lip, and stroked up along my cheek.

What an amazing feeling!

I was barely breathing, so now and then I'd take a deeper breath. The tail tip would stop, then start again, and I realized I was breathing in time to the stroking, lol. She stayed there over 5 minutes, but less than 10. Then she got down and snuggled in next to me, tucked her tail over her nose and went to sleep. Eventually I did, too. I woke about 3 hours later, and she was gone.

I don't remember her or any of my cats ever doing this, what a feeling: Cuddles cuddled! :love:

That is awesome and I know how incredibly nice it is to be cuddled to sleep by a cat:love::D Eve is not only Daddy's lap kitten, she is my bedtime buddy. She starts pacing about 9:30 when she knows Mum's just about ready to call it a day:rolleyes: As soon as I'm under the covers she is on me purring, head butts and all other forms of kitty love. When she finally settles in it's usually on my shoulder with her head on my chest purring me to sleep. She then moves down into one of her favourite spots - behind my knees or right along side my tummy, tucks in and you can't move her:D;) - she's in for the night (or until she gets hungry and wants to be fed;)).

Cats really are the very best therapy for long stressful work days:love: Cuddles - you're doing it right baby:D

Our Cats cannot go out and buy us gifts but these moments areso much more precious and far more valuable than anything that you could ever find in any store.

Thanks, all, Cuddles IS soft, very much so! She has come such a long way from the scared little cat I brought home from the shelter 6 years ago.
