I got notified yesterday!

While on the keyboard yesterday, I heard an odd meow behind the door closed to the computer room. So, I got up to see who it was. And in came Amy, my tuxedo rescue. I have never known Amy to meow in order to come into the computer room. Anyway she climbed on my lap and then went over to the seldom used litter tub in this room. Afterwards, she wanted back out again. After a few minutes it dawned on me that she came in to tell me that I had forgotten to clean out their litter boxes that same morning.:( This really got my attention, in that Amy took the time to use the only clean tub in the house and then notify me of my oversight. Smart kitty! Inattentive dad!:D

It's amazing how cats can communicate so effectively with us humans. My CH kitty Diva tips over when she uses the litter box and often has accidents, so she has learned to use whatever litter box is in the room one of us is in, and will scratch or meow for help. She also asks to be picked up. And if she's in the kitchen and doesn't feel like stumbling to the living room, she'll holler until someone comes and gets her!:D

And people say animals aren't smart.....huh!!!

Good on you , Amy !! Tell daddy if your litter-box isn't as you like it !! I'm sure he doesn't like a filthy toilet too , hey ;) ;) ;)

Leave it to a girl kitty to demand a clean bathroom! I guess even in the cat world it's the women who strive to keep things clean! :D
