A dear friend of mine is a senior, and very with it. However, she has some minor challenges that necessitate her going into a senior's lodge near here.
Sadly she cannot take her doggy companion, Sally. Sally was a rescue and is anywhere from 8 - 12 years old. She is playful, friendly and acts very young! My friend had tears in her eyes when she told me about this situation - she would rather put her to sleep than "abandon" her in a kennel. (Our HS is lovely, but she hasn't seen it yet.)
The way Sally is built, she reminds me of an Airedale, especially her face structure. But there the similarity ends. She is white, and her hair is in light curls (not tight) all over her body.
I am putting out other feelers, but a PT foster/adopter would be great. She is UTD. She may need a bit of training as her owner is not steady enough to walk her. Sally has had the run of the backyard when she needs to burn off energy.
Thanks!
