Myndi's 16th b'day today!

WOW!!! Can you believe it??? - a big 16 years old!!! And according to the new chart calculations of dog to human years ratio, that makes her 80 in dog years!! She's like a little Timex - "takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. ;) She defied the odds and pulled thru as good as new, after she was so sick a couple of summers ago. She's a tough little girl for sure.

Every time I see a photo of a beloved older dog, I think of that saying "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog" because it is so true. Nothing compares to that deep bond you share with an old dog who knows you inside out. :love:

Myndi wants to thank you for all for her birthday greetings, and let you know she had an extra special day getting (more) spoiled by everyone. A special lunch, extra cuddles on the couch all afternoon, tons of hugs and kisses, and a gingerbread man cookie (dog variety) before heading off to bed for the night. Oh - the life of my dogs...;)

And Varga - you really nailed it with that saying about the love of an old dog. :love: However the words "old/a little senile" are spoken in hushed tones around Myndi, since she doesn't feel that they apply to her. I have to admit - she is quite spunky for her age. :D
