They are such interesting animals. I have one that visits my yard. the dog surprised him once and he just stood there and did nothing. Are you on facebook? I would love to see more pictures of him and hear about hows he's doing. Bless u for rescuing him. I wonder what they sound like. so sad he cired for his mama. Good luck with him. :love:

We have opossum here too but I've not seen one as little and cute as you. It sounds like you found the perfect new mommy to help you grow big and strong. I loved seeing your adorable pictures. You certain love your fruit, eh? ;) It's good for you, I'm sure.

I loved the photos of Rous, he is SO adorable! Wow,of course I want an opossum as well now but that is but a dream :( So happy Rous has such a wonderful family to care for him now. He will grow quite large right? As big as an adult cat? Excellent POTD!! Love ya little Rous :love: Peace and love :D:D:D:D

Hi, Rous! (Did you get your name from The Princess Bride?) I found some photos of you 2 months oop-- you were a wee one :) Now you have grown! And just as loved too! I enjoyed reading about you -- happy Pet of the Day, Rous!

ROUS says thank you all for the sweet and wonderful comments! :D :love: He did indeed get his name from The Princess Bride. lol. Right now he is about the size of our smallest cat Coska. :) Around 6 pounds.
