RIP Pouncer Roccalno

I have not seen My ittle Tortie in a while, she was a regular visitor as I always had some Fancy Feat for her.
Pouncer Roccalno found a nice home across the tracks and she was a regua at several homes where she was fed.
Sady she was hit by a Car and was found in the bushes by the tracks.
I was going to make her a Found Cat , the Anima Welfare Associaton spayed he, and put her in a cage in my basement.
Was I stunned when I went downstairs and the cage was empty.:eek:
Then she somehow dug her way out of the basement.
She came around on a regular basis, but I am morning a Dear Cat who shoud have been a Found Cat , but wanted to be a Free Cat.:(
You are truly free now , My Dear Little Tortie and I know that My First Cat Pouncer will show you the ropes of being an Awesome Angel.
I pray we will meet again.

I remmber the story of the little girl, and have kept up with her escapades. She just did not want to adapt to being an inside kitty -- not with you, not with her new family. She had her route, places she'd stop by to eat, and that was the way she wanted it.

I am sorry it had to end this way. Gary, we know you tried with this one! She was too resistant and set in her ways.

I was talking to Helen fro the Animal Wefare Associaton , and she was sad as they thought that Pouncer Roccalno had found her FurrEver Home.
But she would have perhaps not been happy as a Found Cat , and maybe would have had issues , although My Moose, Joseph and Michael may have calmed her down.:love:
But what has happened has happened and Pouncer Roccalno lived ife on her own terms::)

I'm so sorry for your heartbreak; I had something similar happen a few years ago, and it still brings me sorrow. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, the feline mind simply won't adapt to our ideas. In her memory I have taken in Malcolm, and am getting ready to add Mikey Gold the Gold Fluffy Tail :love: and maybe Kenny :love: as well .
Its no life out there outside in the cold where there are careless drivers and FIP.:(:(
