View Full Version : Boo is resting in Mama's arms..

I made the decision yesterday that it was time to let Boo go on to Mama. Several things happened yesterday to help me make that decision. One things was the last 2 days were spend totally on top of the fridge, #2 was she was acting like her good ear has started bothering her and she was scratching at it for hours sometimes. The main thing was when I changed the dressing on her tumor yesterday, I could see it had grown even more overnight and there was a different kind of drainage coming from a spot that wasn't draining before.
I called and made the appointment for this morning and have cried just about ever since. I am at peace with my decision and how she went... it was watching her loosing her quality of life and what she had been reduced to that was breaking my heart.
My beautiful Boo girl, you left here knowing how much you were loved. I just hope Mama saw the wonderful loving gal you had become and you make sure she lets me know you made it back to her. I will always miss you and you will forever have that special place in my heart. Rest in Peace my beautiful baby!

I did have the vet check both her ears today and that tumor had completely closed off the ear canal on that side. Now I know why she was doing that howeling for awhile..

I hope Mama and Boo let you know that Boo is fine.

I know how difficult it can be to see a beloved pet leave this world. You did the right thing.
I can't stop crying, so I can imagine how bad it must be for you.
Just know that Boo is no longer suffering.

Laura ~ Sweet Boo girl is now reunited with your Mom. Lots of tears. Happy tears for them. Sad tears for us left behind. I know your Mom is smiling down on you. It took some time, but after Boo grieved losing her(and your) Mom, she came to love you.
Gentle hugs to you.

Dear Boo, pretty one
Of the pumpkin range fur
And round sweet loving face
How fitting it is that autumn
Was the time for you to part
Always, when late October arrives
Mom will think of you, sweet girl
Mellow as an autumn afternoon
Warm as sunlight through the yellowing leaves
And soft as the sweater that the season brings
And you, dear one
Are whole again, and can shine on at the Rainbow Bridge
Sned your mama some purrs, and let her know
You are happy again, reunited with your kitty Mama and
Together you will watch over her
Until that fine day when you greet her again.

This breaks my heart to read this but I believe that things happen for a reason and help us make the right decision.
RIP sweet girl! You can carry the love with you and tell all the strays up in heaven what it's like to be really loved and cherished by a hooman.
I'm so sorry Laura. Please accept these hugs as my attempt to dry a tear or two.

Godspeed, little Boo......
Laura, oh how I understand your pain. I wish I could take it away. There is nothing like a kitty and it is so painful when we need to let them go.
But Boo is happy now - resting and very grateful to you for all of the good care and love.

Laura, this is another lovely kitty who thrived in your love and care. From the poor sad gal who came to you after your mom passed, through all the ups and downs of life, and to become happy as a member of your clowder. I know this is hard for you, she was a special gal in her own right, and she was your Mom's kitty as well. Hugs to you, Laura. I am so sorry for your loss.
Kitty Boo, you landed in a loving family when you went to live with Laura's Mom. And you shared so much love with all of them. Now you are healthy again, and with your first HuMom. Blessings to you sweet girl.

It is so sad and daunting when we have top make that decision that our Dear Friends are too ill , and no longer would have a good quality of life.
I think that we have all had that decision to make when your Dear Cat Companion is suffering and you have to tell the Vet that your Loved One will not be coming home.:(
Boo and Her Momma are now reunited in Paradise , and will let you know that they are there.
There will be a dish at The King's Buffet for them on Monday.
We are sending prayers for You, and Your Ctas who will miss Boo.
I am sure that Boo will soon fiund her place Our Awesome Angels Army, and will find a place where you will all be reunited in love.
One Fine Day:love:

Laura, I send you my deepest sympathy for your loss of Boo. She was so beautiful and sweet - and remember, she knows she was very loved. You were kind to let her go and not suffer anymore.
She will find her loved ones at the RB, and you will keep her in your heart.
Rest in peace, Boo!

It is never an easy decision to make to allow our beloved furry ones to leave the earthly bonds, but you made the right decision for Boo.
She is now with your mother and waiting for the time when she can see you again.
God spend Miss Boo...

Laura, I don't know you or Boo, but I know your pain. I once had a cat - Morganna - with a tumor; just as happened with you, I knew when the day came. I'm so sorry for your pain; it will ease in time. Try to find some consolation in knowing that your beloved Boo waits, healthy and happy, at the Bridge for you,.
