My friend Jan trapped three 9 week old kittens in an industrial park. They are feral. She called me and asked me if I'd be willing to work with them and I jumped at the opportunity.
There are two boys, one is black (Taz), the other is black and white medium hair (Puff-Puff and I did NOT name him!!). The third is a little girl, Lucy who is the spitting image of her brother Puff-Puff.
Day one, Puff-Puff bit me. Finger is okay. But HE is gonna be a little pisser and I have a feeling, the last hold out of all three!!
There is nothing more gratifying than hearing a feral kitten give in, sigh and start purring. Nothing like it!!! That's the reason I do what I do!
I'll try to take pictures when I go there tomorrow so you can see how beautiful these little ones are.

"Donna is off again, lol, doing what she does best, doing what she loves." This is what ran threw my mind as I read your post, Donna, lol.
I know you will have those 3 purring in no time. They are plenty young enough, they will come around with your care.

Awww! Our once feral, now tame Wrangler (originally called "Biter-man") is thriving in his new home. He just got neutered :)
Have fun with these babies. I actually miss it and look forward to the chance again.

SUCCESS!!!!!!! I had all three purring this morning! Not all at once. But I've gotten through to them.
I promise, I'll take pictures over the weekend.

The little black kitten, Taz, went to the Bridge this afternoon.:(:(:(
He was the smallest and was "failure to thrive". He developed bacterial pneumonia. The vet tried every antibiotic there is. He was in an O2 tent. I went to see him this morning and he was so fragile, the glimmer in his eyes was gone. He was breathing at a 1/4 lung capacity.
It broke my heart to see him so frail and struggling to breathe. I called Jan and told her. She was beside herself. But I convinced her that is what was best.
I always thought it would get easier with time. It doesn't.:(
