Patches sounds like she has great "tortietude". I had a foster long hair named Patches who was a sweetie.

I think it's great that Angel cats are sometimes chosen for COTD. That way their "purr-ent" can share their love for their kitty with the Pet Talk world.:)

Your wonderful tripbute to Patches, while bringing tears at the end, is a testiment to the value we all find in the individual relationships with our furrbabies. Patches certainly was a SPECIAL girl...and such a beauty! In her 14 years, she was obviously loved and adored, and it is so nice to read about her.

Oh Patches, the Rainbow Bridge got a little brighter when you joined the other Angel Kitties there!!! What a beautiful, touching tribute from your loving Parent! I was amazed you had 14 kitty siblings and 3 canine ones. You are very missed, but always live in their hearts, and now many others know you today as well! Your calico coat is beautiful--what a gorgeous photo, and the markings around your eyes are stunning!!! I was delighted when I saw Akron, Ohio pop up because 37 years ago today, that is where I was born!!!! Congratulations, Sweet Patches, on being on Honorary Tribute COTD!!!!
