Like Medusa, I too thought you were a kitten!:eek: What a fetchingly beautiful seasoned citizen you are, and like a fine wine, you’re only getting better (and mellower, hehe), with age! You certainly had a very sad start at life, sweetheart, most notably suffering that debilitating injury. But it's clear, just as you Mommy says, you haven't left your "handicap" keep you from enjoying every aspect of life to its fullest! You may be a “nut,” suffering from FIS, but you’re the cutest, most lovable nut I’ve ever met!:D And the fact that you and your 3 siblings are all over the age of 15 speaks volumes as to the wonderful care, and the amount of unconditional love, you receive!:)
Yes, a beautiful best friend, loving companion and comforter to your Mom; devoted sister to your siblings and a good mom yourself; you're all that and so much more, Madison, and so very deserving of being crowned our extra special Sunday Cat of the Day!:cool:

She is a constant year round lap cat and still loves attention. When I am working, she will pester me for attention. Madison's signature pester is to head butt my mouse hand while I'm trying to work on the computer. A very effective attention getter, I might add.

A few weeks ago I had a very painful (and brief) illness. Madison was the only one of my kitties to recognize I was hurting and tried to help. She laid in bed with me several times during the day and started to lick my hand and arm to comfort me.
