Two notorious felines, er felons have been apprehended. Frankie aka Frankie-stein and Chip aka The Chipster, were both nabbed at the scene of the crime early this morning. Both have been sentenced to 30 minutes in the county lock up, or until their mommy loses the urge to throttle both of them. ;) :D:love:

Wow and I thought that my Alani & Blaze were destructive. It looks like they had a good time though. I hope that time out will help all of you calm down a little bit. Good luck.:)

What are the venetian blind slats made of that they would break so easily?

They are plastic and probably old. The came with the house when I moved in in 2006.

Frankie and Chip, I bet you had a lot of fun - but now you're paying for it. You'll get out pretty soon, if I know your mom. ;) :D

What a couple of guilty but adorable looking criminals.:)
Maybe they need some more toys to keep them out of trouble?;)
I can't believe how totally destroyed those mini blinds are!

Okay, so they are vertical blinds. I wasn't sure. Cats do love blinds. :D
I think I would have to agree with Frankie, he looks so sweet and innocent. He was framed! :p

To be fair, I'm sure Frankie was lead astray by Chip. Even though he is now a year and half old, Chip refuses to settle down any. He is teaching Frankie everything he knows.
The blinds originally looked like the ones behind Winnie and Angel in their pics in my siggy.
They have been busy busy boys!!! :D

Groucho- you need to come over quickly! Two kitty boys are innocently in jail. The blind monster framed them!

I'm sorry - but I can't help but laugh. Sorry! :( Didn't Chip destroy some other blinds not too long ago???

Gotta say, Frankie doesn't look remorseful at all. :D

That's what I was thinking... time to put a call in to Groucho, kitty lawyer ;)
Frankie and Chip, it's NOT a good idea to try to make blinds into toys. Cassie has tried, too and it just doesn't work. We do have a piece of string from blinds in the toy basket-- it has a large knot that *someone* decided would be fun to play with. That's how I found out blinds don't make good toys.
But oh, Frankie! You are definitely getting bigger and just as beautiful
Frankie and Chip, please try to stick to the kitty toys meowmie gives you to play with. Crime scenes !

When I bought this house in 2001, there were vertical blinds in the front living room. I replace those with shades before even moving in! Ha ha haaa.
Oh my that photo of the crime! Woo wee, they had a grand old time, didn't they?!!!
Hope they get out of the hoosegow soon!

They were the same ones. I was able to tape them back together for a long time. This is just beyond repair though. Hope the neighbors enjoy the cat gang peeking out at them. :D

Behave Frankie and Chip
From Sam: Boys, you need to behave or your meowmie might remove all the fun stuff like mine did. She took down the curtains years ago because I like to climb up the curtains. That is what cats are supposed to do. :D
Meowmie put in high places and trees for me so I don't have to climb curtains, but still no curtains. I have her trained, but I've got to make her put up the curtains again. :D
Any ideas?

Oh my gosh.:D:D I wouldn't have believed that those itty bitty kitties
could cause so much destruction. LOL They look beyond repair this

Is it too early to threaten them with no visit from Santa? :D

Kitties, Pinot here, sorry I've been out of commission lately. Mom and Dad are away and ... well ... there's an issue with my on line communication when they're not here.
You definitely need the services of Groucho. I'll see what I can do, but it might not be until Sunday (when my Catberry returns with my purrents). I'm only using the purr-flirt with the catsitter to get on line now. I can't see how that could be your fault!

Hi Frankie and Chip,
I just saw this now. What is happening here? Why are both of you in jail? What are the charges? How are you being treated during your incarceration?
Don't worry, fellow kitties, I'm on my way! I assure you that there will be a full investigation. As for the pictures of your alleged damage, it looks like photoshop to me. I'll stop at the Haggis In A Hurry Shoppe so there will be plenty for you to eat.
See you very soon. If you can, call me on my cell phone.
Your friend,

Hee hee, snicker, snicker, ha, ha, LOL :D :D :D The truth WILL come out and you will find that they were simply showing a would-be intruder what would happen if he or she came into the house! They would shred the living daylight out of him or her! :D :D :D

What fun they must have had. Hopefully, once they "grow up" you could get another blind and be able to keep it up in one piece!

Hey Moff - how about putting a shade in the window? Chip gets messing with that and sets the spring off that rolls it up, and he'd probably have the living bee-geebies scared out of him, since that's one heck of a startling noise when it springs up unexpectedly.:p It just might cure him.

He'd probably enjoy it and learn how to make it do that on purpose. :D
I can't get up there to pull a shade down a million times a day anyway. I can't even get up there to take the torn blinds down. I was able to reach as far as the blind damage though and clip the hanging slats and cords off. I sure didn't want to go in there and find one of them had gotten trapped in the hanging cords and hurt or worse.
The neighbors will just have to deal with a herd of cats watching their every move from now on. :D

Well, both of them "lawyered up". Barrister Groucho has made it clear that his clients aren't talking without a deal. After all, no witnesses, no finger prints, NADA.
I heard the Chipster whispering to Frankie, "Deny, deny, deny!!!"

Over in Richard's Kitty Crack thread, MOFF said this -
I've been fooling my kids for a while now. I buy Grandma the tiny bags of Fancy Feast crunchy because she can eat the small pieces better than their regular crunchy food. She is 17 now and deserves a bit of pampering anyway.
I take a couple of handfulls of her crunchy food and put it in the other cat's treat jar. It's way cheaper than buying them regular cat treats. It's still a treat to them because they don't get it daily.
Just wondering if the boys have discovered the switch, and are protesting in their own unique way :D
