Coupe almost definitely has Maine Coon in him. He looks so much like my boy, Little Bear, who was Cat of the Day on Feb. 6, 2010. I'm sure his aggression issues are fear-based, though. Maybe you could try mixing an herbal calmative into his food.

What a beautiful kitty. I have always wanted a Maine Coon . I posted this before but some of you may not know that the Maine Coon has the distinction in the Guiniess book of records as the longest cat in the world.

What a beautiful boy you are! :D Your parents are very lucky to have you, and it looks to me like you have calico markings, with three or more colors, which is very rare for male cats. Most calico cats are female. So, you are a very special guy indeed. Also, just tell your folks that you are just a teenager right now, and will mellow out in a few years. I have had several cats that started out kinda cranky, but when they get to be about 7 or 8 years old, they turn into lovebugs. So no worries about that. Congrats on being COTD. Have a wonderful life out there in sunny Sac.

Hi Coupe! A very happy Cat of the Day to you, beautiful boy! (What a cool name...vvvvvroooom!:p) And yes, I would most certainly agree that you're part, if not all MC! What a handsome, BIG boy you are, Coupe, and your coat is simply gorgeous...so thick and so plush! And while you may have a few behavioral/fear issues, while you may not be every family's idea of the ideal furkid (then again who's perfect), it's clear you are a perfect fit for your family, that they love you dearly! If they didn't love you so, they wouldn't have nominated you for Cat of the Day, right Coupe?:) Yes, they love you just the way you are, and that's just as it should be!:love: Many thanks to your wonderful family for rescuing you and your entire fur family, finding you all caring and loving homes! You surely hit the forever family jackpot they day you popped out on the bathroom floor!:D You even get to keep in touch with a few of your siblings!:cool: How great is that!

To Cat Daddy: You're right about the car connection. We used the name Coupe because we own a '35 Ford Coupe.

To mrjinxsmomma: It's just the lighting making Couple look like he has other color markings. Although his mom IS a DMH torti.

To catmandu: No, the small cat is not one of Coupe's babies. That is Miller who you should be seeing soon as Cat of the Day. Miller is another rescue kitty we took in.
