http://www.imom.org/community/uploads/monthly_09_2011/post-8018-0-70846100-1316883562_thumb.jpgMolly is a 1.5 yr old Coon Hound who jumped a fence and got hit by a car. BOTH of her back legs are broken. One is very severe and open. She is currently at the vets being treated with pain medication, we are going to try and raise the funds for her surgery over this weekend, so she can be treated Monday morning.

Her daddy is about to be deployed to Afganistan AGAIN and IMOM is helping to raise funds to get her the surgery she needs tomorrow.

We've already raised $975. The vet has given them a huge discount but there is still $607 to raise today.

You can follow Molly's story on IMOM: http://www.imom.org/community/index.php?showtopic=7857

Can you help? Maybe skip that latte today? No donation is too small. There is a link in Molly's thread to the donation page, but if you can't get there for some reason, use this: http://www.imom.org/donation/index.htm Please designate your gift under Specific Pet In Need to "GF-Molly Trueblood"

Here's a photo of Molly with her Daddy and her 2 children. The 2-year old girl is especially distraught about the possibility of losing Molly.

Molly still needs funds. No amount is too small.

She is in a lot of pain and the vet has mentioned euthanesia if she can't have surgery tomorrow. :(

Molly has $1135 this morning - great progress, but not quite enough. She still needs $447.

Thank you to all you cross-posted and/or contributed. Unfortunately, Molly may be euthanized if the additional funds can't be raised. :(

We're letting the vet and Daniel know. We hope they will start her right away.

Thank you angels!!

FYI ~ Dancing bananas are used when a case reaches All Funds Raised -- in honor of Teddy. A tabby cat who loved her catnip banana. :D

Molly's dad updated IMOM that Molly will have surgery this afternoon.

The family got to visit her today and she was a happy girl to see "her" kids. :D

That's so great to hear. I wasn't able to contribute any $$ at this time, but I sure was sending tons of positive vibes and prayers Molly's way.

Molly made it through surgery. Thanks you all. Update from her Dad:

Hello all,

I did get to stop by the vet this morning before I went into work.

She made it out of surgery late yesterday afternoon so was unable to see her, but she made it through fine. She was still a little groggy this morning from the pain meds, but she started wagging that tail of hers as soon as she saw me.

The Dr. said that she is already up walking on the leg. They put the plate and 10 screws into her leg.

I am going to be able to take her home tomorrow after work. She will be on 6 weeks of limited cage rest, and only be able to do leash walks. It's going to be a long road until she is filly recovered, but thanks to this organization, she at least has that chance to recover...

Molly's dad posted an update. Molly got to come home today. She's wearing the "cone of shame" :D but her tail is still wagging.

Oh this is great news! I was also unable to donate this time. But I was definitely hoping she would get the surgery. :D
