There was a beautiful big black fluffy kitty that was always at the vets office when I'd go in. For a long time he would always come to greet me when I called his name. The girls in the office would say....Murph, your mom is here!
Eventually he didn't get up and walk across the receptionists papers and keyboard to come say hello anymore. But he would still look at me with his huge gorgeous green eyes.
When I took Jax to the vet last week for his check up and shots there was a sign posted that Murphy was no longer with them. July 6th they had to let him go. He was about 18 years old and had diabetes. He was not reacting to the meds he was being given. :(
One of the girls said that was the most difficult day of her life and she (luckily) wasn't even working that day.
Play hard at the bridge Murph! I'm sure there are plenty of dogs for you to terrorize there too. :)
