Hi Littledawn and Kayleigh!:) Happy Pet of the Day to you both!:)
What an oh so handsome horse you are, Littledawn, and yes, your "crooked" blaze only makes you that more special and unique; you couldn't be more beautiful if you tried! And what a terrific team you and Kayleigh make! How lucky she is, having a best friend and teacher in you, Littledawn; a partner not only in the riding ring, but out of the ring as well! Every young person deserves a devoted confidant and soul mate such as you to grow up, someone to share her/his secrets with; the good times and not so good times! What happy times you'll be making over the years, memories to cherish for a lifetime!:)
Enjoy your much deserved day of honor, Littledawn, celebrating with your wonderful young person Kayleigh, your best horse friend, and all who know and love you!
Please have Kayleigh give you a big neck hug and a favorite treat, for me!:love::love:

Dear Kayleigh,
I want to thank you for sharing your horse Little Dawn with us. In regard to his blaze, I think it just gives him character. He doesn't look like every other horse which has a straight blaze. Besides, who's to say what is normal? :) Little Dawn is a very handsome lad and I really wish there was more than one photo of him but even the one really shows what a good-looking dude he is. :)
I'm sixty years old now but when I was young, i loved horses and wanted one so badly but I knew my parents didn't have the means to get one. Then, when I was about 14 or 15, m6y grandfather, who did have the means, got into running bird dogs at field trials and the method of following the dogs was by guess what? Horse back. He bought not only one but TWO horses, both of them Kentucky Walkers. One was a bay mare with a bald face and a honey blond main and tail, and two or three white feet. Her name was "Puddin' " and was 16 hands high. The gelding, named "Rock" was steel gray and 17 hands high and was considered a "man's horse" because he was both hard-mouthed and hard-headed. I usually wore spurs with him, although they were just walking horse spurs, with side-turned rowels about the size of a dime with tiny teeth, nothing at all akin to the cruel, huge Mexican spurs of the "old days". He wasn't necessarily a man's horse but one must have needed to have experience to ride him. Occasionally, he'd get a hump in his back when I was riding him alone and try to lightly buck me off but I always wore a big western saddle when i rode him and it made it hard for him to get me off. Then again, he only half-heartedly tried to throw me. I finally lost my 17 year old temper one day and busted him between his ears with my fist. I had on gloves but nearly broke my fist. Rock? It fazed him not a bit. LOL
Well, my friend, I've raved enough. You just helped to bring back some memories for me and it was good to think of more early and healthier days.
May the Lord richly bless and keep you, Kayleigh, and Little Dawn, too. May you know the Lord Jesus as your Savior as you go through this life. Again, thanks for sharing your horse with us. Have a wonderful and happy life, and may the Lord lead you to the right man when the time comes. lease take your time when that time comes. I know what I'm talking about.
My love to all in Christ Jesus,
