I was thinking I love my cats dearly but if I could change just one thing, what would it be?

Buddy--He is almost a perfect cat all around, however, he claws the furniture and he has all 4 claws.

Mama--Such a sweet girl for the most part but she will swat me for no apparent reason. She can be all lovey and I'm petting her. When I start to walk away...out comes the paw...SWAT!

Tinker--My little love bug, curling up in my lap, however, I would like it if she would not claw the carpet.

Anyone want to share? :)

LOL! I love Fister dearly, he comes in bed with with me and he puts his claws into my arm when I'm reading. Oh yes, we have this routine and that's wonderful, because I've clipped his nails, but then later, he puts his face right in my face. I love it, but his whiskers can be really irritating. Sometimes I wish they were a bit shorter. I can't find any other things that annoy me about him.

Mario: Now Mario was always the perfect cat, but he has developed a bad habit of marking his territory right at the bottom of the stairs in my living room.

Toby: My ragamuffin has the worst breath ever. He'll meow and it's... dragon breath, awful XD. But he's a love, and I cuddle with him anyway.

Luigi: It'd be nice if he didn't bite so much. If I could take away anything, I'd take the FIV, think it makes him cranky...

This is a good thread!!!

AustinB, aka UtchieB, "Utchman" - he needs to calm his skinny, nekkid @$$ down!!!! I know he's still going through the kitten stage, but GEEZ!!!!

Wouldn't change a thing on the others. They all have their little quirks, but that's what makes them so special!!

Storm- I wish he didn't get so jealous of me giving the others some attention. When he gets jealous, he starts chasing them and being mean to them.:(

Sky- He's almost perfect but I wish he wouldn't make so much noise when he uses the litter boxes with the hoods on them. He has to scratch the sides for several minutes and this makes so much noise. I have one near my bed so if he uses it late at night or early in the morning it always wakes me up.

Pearl- I wish she wasn't so vocal. I also wish that she wasn't so needy towards me and bossy and nasty towards her siblings.

Ziggy Stardust- I wish that she wasn't such a drama queen whenever I need to brush her, brush her teeth, or clip her nails.

Alani- I wish he'd stop tearing up paper products.

Blaze- I wish he'd do a better job of cleaning his bottom.

I like this thread. Okay, here goes:

Mac: Perfect in every way except that I wish he didn't scarf and barf as much as he does. Since he's been fed grain free it happens less often, but I still step in cat puke from time to time.

Ming: He's such a love cat, but....Stop picking on Kimba and stop missing the litterbox, your butt belongs INSIDE the box!

Kimba: Stop using your claws and teeth so much when you play with us! While you at it, please stop clawing the couch!

I wish Toby wasn't so pushy, and I wish Havoc would quit putting his butt in my face every morning:eek:

Buddy - I wish he would not jump down from the window onto your stomach and literally knock all the air out of you.
Malibu - Definitely make her less fussy when she's being handled. She's not bad at all, just wish she was a little better. Make her more outgoing in public like she is at home. She's been getting better though.
Eve - I wouldn't change any of her craziness. It's who she is and she makes life interesting. :)

I could have done without Limpet prowling the neighbourhood at dead of night and bouncing through my window at 3 am with someone's thirty-dollar-steak-for-tomorrow's-barbecue which they'd trustingly left defrosting in their undefended kitchen. Nobody ever traced the disappearances to her as far as I know (nobody ever accosted me in the street) and there was no way to keep her inside without wrecking us all psychologically. But the embarrassment of having a delinquent cat almost crushed me.

Failing that, I could have done without her
a) making the come-watch-me-murder-this noise for half an hour
b) gumming the edges of the still-frozen thing for 30 minutes, with sound effects.
c) losing interest and leaving it for me to step on in my bare feet when I got up (I'm never at my best in the mornings) six hours' worth of defrosting time later.

I got so good at her midnight-hunter behaviour I could wake from a dead sleep, assess the exact tone of the noise, and diagnose instantly whether she'd come home with a dead steak, a wounded bird, someone's discarded chicken carcass, or an undamaged mouse. In the case of the dead steaks that backfired on me (and my feet). For a bird, it sounds awful but I'd just shut her in the bathroom with it and hose down the walls when I got up. KFC leftovers were the worst-case scenario but at least the damned things were easy to get away from her and didn't try to escape. For the intact mouse I would have to get up, find cat, find mouse, tour house with mouse dangling by tail from other hand like a swat team closing all escape routes, drop mouse out 1-inch slit in last window, slam last window shut and endure cat beating on the glass for half an hour before she forgot about it. I'm not at my best in the middle of the night either.

On the plus side, she did used to eat all the giant abnormal Woody-Allen-sized spiders that come out of drainpipes in the winter around here.
