I was able to pet a kitten today!

Tonight in a town near Concordia, a pet parade parade was held. There were all kinds of pets dressed up and they went down the main street. It's a tradition in Saxonburg. There were calves, a llama, ferrets, rabbits, turtles, you name it! Anyhow, coming down the sidewalk, was a little girl and her mother with a beautiful black & white kitten named (would you believe) Rocky! They let me hold him and it was the most wonderful feeling to hold a kitten again after not having one for a year and a half. (the residents aren't allowed to have pets). WHAT A FEELING!

Oh David, that's so cool!!!! What a wonderful feeling!! You definitely need pet therapy where you are. Any way I can write a letter??? If I only lived closer, you'd have a cat to pet everyday of the week!!!!!
