My cat is nursing kittens she had two days ago. I found her this evening eating the face of a squirrel. It was still limp with no visible worms or fly larvae. She is 1 1/2 yrs old and I've had her for since she was 1. The previous owner said she had all her shots but didn't furnish med records. She has had no shots since I have had her. Questions are: Is it still ok for her to nurse the kittens? Does she need immediate medical attention? Please advise me? Thank you.
