Well, guess what! I went in my garden a few days back and saw the most lovely looking kittens in my garden. There were two and they went in a maize in my home. Well, my sister and I call it the maize an these are large holes in our garden. There is darkness underneath and many kittens who moved in my home went under there and went completely lost. We made these so the water in our garden could go there and then in the end goes to the drainage. We never thought this could happen. Later, we put bricks there so the water could go and no animal. The two little ones went in there I kept praying that oh god please help them come out. A person said, say bye bye to the kitties, their gone, but, I kept my hopes alive and guess what. I went in the garden and saw the sweetest face looking up at me from behind the sacks of fertilizer in our garden. Then the two ran under the maize again. I was delighted that the kittens were fine. So, I put up milk for them.

Well, then later I came to check up on them and saw the milk was lesser than earlier and that I knew that I didn't leave a hair in the milk :p There was a hair in the milk, meaning the kittens had drank the milk. :) Then later I went up in the garden again and saw the kittens playing ever so sweetly. They did not know I was there. :D I made a movie of them playing and said PTers gotta know about these!!

to be continued...

Well, here's more. I went up in the garden and saw that the kittens were playing again. Oh! and yea i totally forgot about the colors. There is one that's grey-ish green and the other is orange. But not completely. There's white in them too. Well, then I saw the orange one come and pay ing the garden. I mean walked around an then went back under the maize. I went closer to the greyish-green one and it shot to the maize. :p

YOU WON'T BELIEVE, LATER I WAS IN THE GARDEN AND I SAW THE MOTHER OF THE TWO CREEP BEHIND THE PLANTS! She was going towards the maize. She kept staring me like the first time she saw me. She was standing in the stairs when I first saw her. And she was all wide eyed! Now she went near the maize and I saw the kitties go to her running from under the maize. and guess a what. THERE ARE NOT ONLY TWO BUT, THREE KITTENS!!! THERE IS ANOTHER WHO'S MOSTLY GREYISH GREEN!! I was amazed and my heart melted seeing the way they met their mother.

I have the movie and the pictures on the computer. They are gonna be large because I am uploading them from photobucket.

So, the mother then saw me coming in the garden and was wide eyed again. She kept staring me and saw my every step carefully. Later, I saw her eat the food I put up for them and the new milk bowl I put, she and her kitties drank milk from there. Then the milk was less and the food was finished. I put up more milk with bread and gave it to the mother and she even came close to ME!! :D I was happy she didn't snap. She even mewed a little at times. Then I snapped pictures and pictures and she was all wide eyed at the camera when I brought it close to the kittens. Then the mother was tired and was closing her eyes. And then I left her. She's probably asleep. :)

There's plumbing going on in my home and the plumber and my worker has to go in the garden to do work :(:( I don't want them to disturb the mother cat. I went up with my worker. Earlier I went up and the mother was behind the sacks of fertilizer. I went to put milk int he bowl because she was not liking the milk with bread and so I took milk from that bowl and refilled the first. The momma came and sat on the grass. My worker went upstairs and I followed him. The momma saw him and instantly hid behind the sacks. I was so sad that she's afraid of him and I didn't want my worker to come there again. I called the momma out and she came to me. She wasn't afraid of me! Her little tiny tots also came out, they looked so lovely near their mother. How they acted was heart melting! And then my worker went downstairs and the momma saw him and hid again and her kids scattered under the maize and momma also hid there!! I told him they weren't afraid of me and probably he could the message that he's frightening them... I tried calling the mother and she did not come out. The kids kept staring at me creepily but adorable in another view. Then I went to the garden and one came out and stared at me and then went back in. I then later went downstairs to the laptop to update all the new stuff. :D:D:D I am sooooooo happy!! :D

I also saw the third kitty drinking the milk while the other two were in front playing. :D :D They are all so adorable!!
However, it looks like mama kitty might have some kind of eye infection. Or is that just her coloring?

The picture of One Down is too funny! :D :p

Hehe thanks! The momma, I was looking at her eyes too, they seemed kind of weird to me. But, I'm still not touching her, she allows me to come near her but, I can't touch her yet, I guess. What do you think it could be? :( I hope it isn't anything really bad. The right eye seemed weird to me.

Mom looks quite young and quite thin too. What kind of milk are you giving them. Cats are lactose intolerant so cows milk is bad but they have no problem with goats milk or a milk replacer which you can find at the pet store. Kitten food would be great for all of them. Momma looks like she needs to gain some weight. I am sure feeding those little rugrats has taken a toll on her. I would say the kittens are around 6-8 weeks. They are a good size.

It is hard to say what the eye thing could be. I might simply be irritated from dust or bushes or anything like that. It could be an infection or any other number of things. When she trusts you enough to hold her (momma cat) then try bathing her eye with some cotton balls covered with warm water a few times a day for a few days. Usually if it is an irritation or a cold in the eye this will help clear it up. If it is more then she will probably need medication to clear it.

They are all really sweet. Hope all goes well with them and that they will get great homes. Good luck.

Thank You everybody!! :):D

Well, the update is that, after coming home from school, I went to check on the tiny tots and the momma, they were not in sight, I clapped, whistled, called out to them, but couldn't find them. Then I hoped the momma would come soon because the clouds were roaring and probably it would rain. It rained but not much. Rained many times but not for a long time. I poured some milk in their bowl and when I came back to check on them, the momma was coming out from under her hiding place and I was soo happy. Then I went over and was going to pat her, but she hissed and mewed, I think calmly brought my hand close and gave her some scritches and she became all nice with me and wasn't afraid much. I was sooo happy she allowed me to pt her! :D And then her lovely widdle tots came out one by one, I was going to shriek with happiness when I saw them. I was missing them the whole day!!! Then later, they were playing ever so sweetly! I just wanted to go over and squeeze them! One wouldn't even let anybody near it. it would bite them and when its momma came over to lick it it started pawing her and biting her. And the momma was so patient that it wouldn't say anything to them even when they were biting and pawing her tail :D I wish I could make a movie but by then they could have left or went to sleep.
And once, the kittens were so into their games that they went past me without knowing they were actually near me. And when they would stare at me their eyes would be wide open and so frightened so I did not pat them even though the orange one was extremely close to me.

And about the milk, I'll check and tell what animal's milk it is. The little kittens were lapping the milk sooooo sweetly I wanted to go over and give them a huggie!! :D I'll try fattening up the mother! :) She's really skinny. And, please pray her eye doesn't have anything seriously bad in it and it isn't going to harm her. I hope she allows me to wipe it.

Well, bad news, I've been giving them cow milk. And the only other milk we have is powder milk, we mix water in it and milk's ready, but it isn't gonna help the kitties, is it?

Well, they didn't come out today because it was extremely extremely hot!!!! :( And so, probably that's why they didn't come out. I didn't see the momma, but the kittens came out to play for a few minutes. Well, not much to tell about today.

Sana the problem with cows milk is that is has lactose and lactose will cause diarrhea. You can check the lactose content in the powdered milk. I give my 2 cats that like milk some skim milk 1 time a week and it doesn't bother their tummy or give them diarrhea. As for the powdered milk do you know if it is whole milk, partially skimmed milk or skimmed milk powder? Are the kitties getting anything other than milk to eat? Do be sure to have water available for them at all times. Leave out a nice sized bowl of water for them to drink and change it or add some ice cubes too it a few times a day to keep it cool if it is sooo hot outside. It is getting quite hot here now too and we have started this week putting ice in the dog water bowls and the water bowls we leave out for the stray and neighborhood cats.

If the mom is there, they shouldn't need milk, or, am I missing something here? Dry kitten food is definitely good for them all.

I'll try adding ice cubes in the water bowl when I go up to check on them. The milk I will check and let you know. I give them something like, what is made for lunch, what we are eating, like....I don't know, I think you call it the French bean,

here's a picture.

The green thingies in it, we chop them up and add them to minced meat. It isn't spicy, it's just a normal taste, but when I fed them this, there weren't any potatoes or spicy stuff. So, I just checked if they liked it and the momma ate it all up! I hope it wasn't something bad for her.

Well, update, the mother still hasn't come out, I think I haven't seen her since Friday afternoon! :(

And second this is the milk I use to give the kitties and the momma, was cow milk and the second, the other milk I used to give them, its powder milk, and there was a picture of a cow and a milk can on it, meaning most probably its cow milk, too. :( Well, there is no other milk in the house and so, all I could do was put up cow milk for them to drink. I put up water with three ice cubes in a bowl and its next to the milk bowl.

While I was washing the bowl for the water, I saw the orange kitty come a little to the front and then it started staring at me. I tried not to keep an eye contact because it would probably go back inside, but when I came close to put the water bowl it was gone. I saw no other kitty up till now. Its 7:21 in the morning so they're probably asleep.

Oh! and how could I forget. My cousins came on Friday and I showed them the kitty and the momma. They at once recognized the mother. This was the same cat who came to their home, she only had one kitten with her then, it was an orange and white one, very very very much similar to the one that lives in my home, now. The mother lived with them and then later left her kitten and went off. The kitten did not live with my cousins. It started traveling from here to there, and then later it came to their home and it had a pretty badly broken paw. I wouldn't want to describe it. I saw it and I was like, it can't be the same kitty that I used to see! And now I hope this cat doesn't leave these poor babies here alone. I can care for them, but I wouldn't want them to turn up just like the other kitten. They are still very young. My cousins named the kitten, Kitta and the mother, Hurayra. It means kitten and cat in Arabic.

Now the trio that lives in my home, I still haven't named them. I just hope that Hurayra doesn't abandon these three.

And so, I have a question, is it true that when a baby kitten still feeds on its mother is picked up by a human, the mother abandons it or leaves it, so the human could care for it?

Well, that's all for now

Well, another sad update. I did not see the mom since Friday afternoon and I have up till now from the crack of dawn, I have only and only seen the orange kitty. I was getting worried. The person who works in my home said the cat took all of her kids and went away, I said no and that I will search for them. I used a stick and saw that the deeper part of the hiding place was wet, I was moving it around the hole and suddenly I heard a sneezing sound like, ""khiaon!!" and then I ran as fast as I could and put the stick on a wooden box and then, turned to see if anything had come..I saw nothing..nobody :(:(:(

I hope they are all ok and are still here and together...I hope you I didn't hurt them, I really hope nobody got hurt. I hope they are safe, together and are unharmed.

A mother cat will leave her kittens when the time has come to do so. They will not stay together forever. This is completely normal & natural for them. So do be prepared that momma will leave. As for the kittens...you say it is very hot during the day so they will most likely stay in hiding where it is cool. Your best chance at seeing them will be in the evening when it gets cooler. You can just go out and sit quietly for awhile, maybe read or something. They will come out to eat & get some 'freedom' & 'activity' in the evening.

Green beans won't hurt the kitties at all. My cats that eat wet food all eat veggies. They eat carrot, peas, green beans, spinach, pumpkin, squash, potato & even some rice. These things are in their high quality, natural cat food. I give them wet food that is only rice, cooking liquids, meat, & veggie. It is all natural. So, if you want to give them meat with any of those things it is ok. Just make sure it has no extra stuff (spices etc) in it. Lots of people make their own cat food for their kitties because it is better than canned food which has all kinds of preservatives & additives & fillers.

This (http://www.almonature.us/en_us/index.cfm/gatto/) is the food I feed mine. They like the 1st one (natural) the best. They eat dry food (Royal Canin Fit 32 & Sensible 33) with it to give them a completely balanced diet.

I feed the momma cat I am caring for this (http://www.almonature.us/en_us/index.cfm/gatto/gatto-basic/holistic-croquettes-kitten-400g-2kg-e-12kg/). And she gets this (http://www.almonature.eu/it_it/index.cfm/gatto/gatto-cusine/cuisine-70g/) with it as well as this (http://www.gimborn.de/product.php?product_id=110). (Gimpet cat milk)

You are doing a lot for them by providing them with extra nutrition and giving them a better chance of surviving than just doing nothing. So, know that you are doing a good thing.

You are sooo correct!! They really did come out in the evening. The guy who works in my home, told me that they were out and playing, then they hid when they saw me. They are still very afraid of me, they don't come close when their mother is away, the kitties stay at the front of their hiding place, but don't step out :p And I still haven't seen the mother, the kittens are all together and I am not sure where the mother could be. You can give them the chicken. Make sure there are no bones and to be sure just rinse the chicken off with water to clean away any spices or herbs that may be on it. Meat, be it chicken, fish, beef, goat, pork, wild game is good for them. Just make sure there are no bones and rinse it off to clean away any spices that might be on it.

Well, there is a huge update. The kitties are all well and the momma too has been SPOTTED!!! :D:D I saw her a couple of days ago, actually I think yesterday ;)

Well, I was in the garden, early morning on Friday. I was eating a nugget and I thought that, well, how about if I drop a small piece of the chicken inside it and see how the kitties like it. Well, when I did it, you wouldn't believe!! All the three kitties ran here and there, one coming out and smelling for the nugget, another coming out and searching, another running back in and all the running here and there, someone taking a sip of the water, I was shocked and surprised...and worried. I put another piece and some came out and looked for the piece. I was sooo worried that the kittens were soo hungry. I ran downstairs, even though I had to go to school, I ran downstairs and hurried to get some chicken for them to eat. I got some chicken and two of the kitties came to eat and so they finished it all, I was sitting close but, they weren't afraid right now. Then, I went downstairs and got more food, the orange one came and finished it all. As I saw them eat the food, I was worried and sad, and cried a while because I thought the mother stopped taking good care of the kitties, I hadn't seen her since a week, and I was worried because for the past week, I thought I should put food once a day, due to certain reasons, a couple of days, I couldn't put up food, it was either too hot or I was a little busy in my work.

Well, on my way to school, I was worried still and earlier I wasn't feeling well and I also thought about staying home and caring for the kittens and taking care of my headache. Well, I did go to school and on the way, I was really angry at the momma, because I thought she hadn't properly cared for the kittens. Well, later I thought that she could be doing sooo much for the kittens and its not necessary that she should be doing it in front of me, when I was not there, she could have been there for the kittens, and I understood that getting angry at the momma was really wrong.

Later, I was putting food for the kittens and suddenly the momma came out of the hiding place along with the kittens, I was soo happy to see her. I was shocked and happy. They ate food, drank water and then she went to the grassy area and laid there. :)

Well, later I went to check up on the kitties today, on Saturday early morning nearly 5:30 am. The kitties were awake and as hyper as could be. Running around and paying while their mother was in sight. I took pictures and made movies. Oh! and there is a new nest above the kitties hiding place, its of a red-vented bulbul, there are kind of common in my city. I saw a babyish one today. And the mom is afraid I might hurt her kids and she is seriously afraid of the camera. I can't take a picture of her standing near to her. She flies away. :( Well I took a far away picture of her and the nest, I couldn't take of the babies but i did take a picture of the nest. :)

Well, good news and bad news..

Good news, I went up in the garden and the kitties were there, safe :) I saw two and I am still hoping the momma was with them. I'll find out when I'll put food up there :D:p She runs right out of the hole :-D The momma bulbul was sitting in the nest, and I am sure that the kids were there, :) I hope none of the baby animals were afraid, the mothers must have been fine, but the babies, I hope they weren't scared too much... :-(

Well, bad news is, the thundering and lightening started again, but it isn't as much as it was last night. It was raining a little and then I had to go.

Here are some more of the pictures I took yesterday.
I think the kitty looks adorable, look those ears!! :p

Sorry for the late update, I am having my final exams and so, can't stay at computer for too long :( I had to reply earlier :o but, couldn't as then I was emailing someone and it took all the time that I had for my break. :-/

Well, bad news, mostly..actually.

The baby bulbuls...some cat ate them :( I have a feeling its either the momma cat or the other orange cat that visits us sometimes.. :-(

I went in the garden a couple of weeks ago and the fan on which the nest was...was broken and the nest was on the floor. The babies were soo tiny and adorable and I felt sad and cried as I wanted to see them grow up :( I got to see one of the parents. I don't know about the other.

Well, now the kitties have shifted on the top floor, that's above the garden and the mother cat, she sometimes sleeps at our neighbors house and she jumps from their roof and comes over to ours. I haven't seen her since a couple of days.

She now actually rubs herself against my legs and purrs and likes it if I rub her head. :-) And the bad news about her is that she brings pigeons that she has hunted to our home and her kittens pounce at it and it isn't really pretty, and then there is a mess of pigeon feathers and my mother doesn't really like this. The kittens are growing and so, when they are able to jump over walls, their gonna leave this home and travel around in the neighborhood. So, I might not get to see them much. :-/

These days the kittens know that I bring milk and so, they come a little close to me. he kittens hiss at me and are frightened of me and they know that I bring milk so, they run around me when I come because they just want to let me know that they are hungry. :D Also, managed to pat all the kittens. The orange one is the only one that I actually got to rub and pat properly. I sit close to them when they drink milk and the orange one stays when I pat them but, the other two run away. :p Once the mother cat was sitting close to me and the orange one came near me and stared at my toe and then started chewing it, it felt sooo ticklish!! :D Their teeth are soft so, I didn't get hurt :-) Well, I have given them milk. Two of them follow me when I haven't fed them milk, they follow me to the stairs and sit there and wait for me. :-) When I bring milk the orange one comes a couple of steps down and then runs away. When I put the bowl down, they all come running!! :D

Well, I will try to keep you guys updated with the kitty kats :) This is all for now.

I know that it is a lot harder to find samples than it used to be, so I would wait until sonmething comes on sale, or ask a humane society nera you to see if they will give you food for your Cats.
My Animal Welfare Society does that for the Porch Cats, and that helps a lot. They also get the food My Found Cats are not fussy on, and contributions from My Aunt Joan!!:love:

There are cat food bags in shops, I don't know if they are good for cats or not, there is this Mei-ow or some spelling like this.

Well, there's another bad news. Went in the garden early morning today and the orange kitty was eating some meat, and I have no idea where is came from. There was a plastic bag next to it. Other than that the orange kitty was coughing. :(

And another thing, there is a black brownish disgusting thing on the grass, there are flies around it and it stinks!!! I have no idea what it is!:( But, i know one thing..ITS STINKY! And I went upstairs from where the mother cat comes and there was something wet and STINKY or the floor. That place stinks now! I have no idea what it is

I don't know what to do about the orange kitty, it tried bit me a little when i was trying to hold it, because I just wanted to see what was on its forehead and why was it coughing. It had a black spot on its forehead and I am hoping its just dirt and that it didn't go smelling that black stinky thing.

Do you know any cough pills I can add to the milk, that can dissolve in milk, too, or any syrup that could cure coughing problem.

I haven't seen the momma cat, but, I have a feeling she came in yesterday...

Sana, be careful. Meat and debris from unexplained sources is not safe. Be careful about holding the kitties. Let someone clean up the stinky stuff while wearing protective gear.

Be careful and report often.

Sad to say , but it is probably the part of the bird that the Momma Cat cannot digest.
:eek::eek:
Is there anyone who can help take these Little Lost Cats in so they can be checked over.:love::love:

It's been so long about outdoor critters that I didn't think about decaying birds. I am worried about meat and the plastic bag. Do keep us updated.

Well, some bad news, and good news I was upstairs with the kittens and one of them, went smelled the rotten stinky thing and picked it up in its mouth, I tired taking it but, it ran upstairs with it to a place where I cannot reach, the orange kitty followed and they did something about it and then came out. I prayed that nothing bad happens to them and then, today, I went to see them, they were perfectly normal and fine, Thank God :D. I gave them milk they came and drank it. The coughing problem, its like it never existed. Thank God the kitty is not coughing again. The orange kitty had something on its eyelash yesterday, but, today, it was a clean little kitty. There was no black spot, or the thingy on the eyelash.

There seem to be nothing else as a problem, thank god! :)

Oh! And I wanted to ask. Can a cockroach harm a kitten? I should be keeping them away, right?

Well, there's bad news and good news.

Good news... The kittens are now familiar with me and come alot to me. But, I still can't touch them :p

Unhappy news... Well, the mother doesn't visit much, I haven't seen her since a long time. But, she does leave some stuff so, I know she's been here.
Let's start with rats.... She leaves them there in the garden  I feel sick when I see them dead upside down...

Bad news... One of the kittens probably tried eating it, the rat's head wasn't there. And I put a basket on it, so they would not be able to reach it. One kitten came and sniffed the basket. well, one of the kittens, I saw it puking on the grass :(:( I don't know, maybe it ate the rat that's why. It left something green on the grass. and was later making weird noises and trying to vomit. When I put milk for them, the other two kittens were drinking it, but, this kitten came, took a sip and then went and sat down and was looking here and there. It doesn't not seem well to me, :(

Please tell what i should do, and please pray this little one heals quickly.
