Lenny, you are such a kind soul and seem to be very intuitive about human need. How wonderful that you helped your rider overcome her fear from past bad equine experiences. Maybe she can own you one fine day, but if not you and she have developed a bond that cannot be broken . . . ever!:love: I wish you a happy POTD celebration with your loving rider, and many more years of encouraging others to trust horses.:)

I have to tell you Lenny, I have tears in my eyes after reading your lovely young lady's heartfelt tribute to her beautiful best friend! That shot of you and she posing together so proudly, the big smile on her face, speaks volumes as to the precious bond you share!:) Although your young lady is no longer able to ride you, I hope that at least you two are able to visit! The friendship you two have forged is one for the ages, one of those relationships to cherish for a lifetime! How lucky your young young lady was having you there to show her the ropes, teaching her not only to ride, but more importantly, to trust and love unconditionally! As we say here so often, our beloved animal companions teach us so many important life lessons, and your young lady has been truly blessed to have had a best friend, a teacher, a soul mate as special as you!:love: And hopefully one day, another very special horse will come into her life, to carry on your legacy!
