Hi all,

My Great-Aunt Ann (94 yrs. old) is in critical condition. Her dog, Chico, needs a new home. Ann's son wants nothing to do with the dog and plans to put him down. My dad asked for him to give us a few days to find Chico a new home.

Chico is a 7(ish) year old Chiuahua. Up to date on his vet records. I think he's neutered. He's pretty good with other dogs, unknown with cats (he didn't bother my parents cats, but then, they were hiding).

He's only lived with my aunt and he's never been around kids, so we're not sure how he would be with them. He's friendly with adults.

She bought him from a private breeder.

My mom is calling the vet to find out the specifics.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, please post or PM me.

Thanks!
Kim

Awww, I hope he finds a good home. He's a Chihuahua, he won't take up much room ...

Update from my parents:

Finding Chico a home is not nearly as urgent as my dad first thought. Ann is in hospice, but has asked about Chico. So they want him around for visits.

Chico was born in '04, is neutered, & up to date on all shots.

Great news! With time to work, I am sure someone will be found to take Chico!
