Ha, ha... pressed green salad

I had rinsed some green salad and wrapped a teatowel around it to soak up the water. It was placed on the kitchen counter in front of the window to the yard.

When I came out there just now, guess who was sitting right on top of it? Oh yes, Fister! I had to laugh. :D

My steak was placed right next to it, still inside a plastic bag - luckily!

A pressed green salad costs a lot these days! You are so lucky you have an in-home presser. I love my mail and unfolded clothes presser!

Edwina likes to press my newspaper for me. She saw it done once on Upstairs/Downstairs. However, I am not sure it was being pressed as the person was reading.

Oh, when it comes to pressing newspapers, Fister is right up there with you!

I have a few shirts that need ironing, if only he could do that for me! Of course, I could put them on the kitchen counter, but who knows when they'd be ready.

Really, if these cats were of any real use at all, I would grow skinny and "pressed" when they laid on me! I had four of them on me the other night...and I woke up the same way I did when I went to bed. Unpressed.
