Dear, precious Laila! I'm in tears after watching your heart wrenching video, reading your mommy's very moving tribute to her beautiful best friend. Your transformation from desperately ill Chin to happy and healthy furkid is simply amazing. You truly are a miracle Chin, sweetheart, and your spirit and will to survive, an inspiration to us all. What a horrific start at life you had, Laila, but thanks to the unwavering devotion of your dear Mommy Erin (with support from the good folks on the Chin and Hedgies Forum), and some great vet care, thankfully you've healed, emotionally and physically; your featured photo, your utterly melting close-up, says it all!:love: I just love the closing moments of your video, you looking so beautiful and healthy, playing so joyfully with your foster sister!:) Happy endings such as yours are what our extra special Sunday honors are all about, and I can't imagine a more worthy, more deserving Pet of the Day than you, Laila, and your mom, equally deserving as well!:)
