I hope you are on heart medication to keep you around for a very long time. I have two old ladies who are on heart medication, and they're doing fine.

Simba, I had the most wonderful little long hair Calico kitty, Puddy, who had one leg very similar to yours and kinks in her tail, too. Obviously, she had more mobility than you but I just want to let you know that nothing stopped her even though I could tell that she sometimes was in pain. There was no surgery that could fix her leg, it couldn't even touch the floor and besides that, she had other health issues. She still lived to the age of 14, never got over 5 lbs. but she was a little dynamo and I have a feeling you are, too. You've got a loving human to take care of you and that makes all the difference in the world. I wish you many, many more happy and healthy years together. Enjoy your well deserved title of COTD, gorgeous. :love:

Hey, Fay, don't forget Betabelle, your little Miss Stumbles. She is a cutie! Betabelle was born normal but came down with distemper (a very nasty illness) and then a couple other problems that could have done her in. But, with a lot of care by Fay and the vet, Beta survived. You should see that girl go running around the house, even with her stumbling. True, she can't jump up on anything, but she finds ways of getting where she wants to go. She doesn't know any other life, and she doesn't let much get in her way.

I'm so sorry that your legs don't work the way that they should, and that you have somewhat of a problem with your ticker, but it sounds like you manage to do whatever you set your mind to. Simba is perfect! I had a cat for many,many years who lived with a heart murmer and had a good quality life. The leg issue doesn't matter as she can't miss what she's never known. I'm from B.C. so I like the picture of her beside the beer case,she's a true Canadian and the best kitty ever!!!So glad Simba is COTD! A million kisses for her,peace and love :love::):love::):D:D
