Keks, the Sweet, Little Bunny...

Dear Friend,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet, little bunny Keks. I don't know why bunnies do that sometimes. Many years ago, I had a little black bunny who, with many others of various colors, had been turned loose in our neighborhood. It was heart-breaking, because some got run over by cars, others taken by hawks, others by dogs, etc. I adopted a little black one and named her "Baby". I knew I couldn't keep her and found a great home for her. As it was, Baby was pregnant and when she had her babies, she died right afterward. I expect they lost the babies as well, without their mommy. I'm a grown man but I love animals and when I heard of Baby's passing, I wept like a child. My eyes are wet just thinking about her now. I'm so "easy" like that.
Again, I'm sorry about your losing Keks. May the Lord bless you for giving Keks a good home while he was here.

How adorable little Keks was! I once lost of bunny at the same age, his name was Dasher. Still miss him terribly - hopefully they are now friends at the Rainbow Bridge.

Precious Keks, know that you were loved here on earth by a special person, and may you visit your devoted guardian as she/he dreams during the night just to give a subtle signal that you are okay and most grateful for the loving relationship you both shared.

I'm so sorry you went to the Rainbow Bridge at such a young age but you took lots of love with you. I believe someday you and your loving guardian will be together again. Until then, enjoy playing with all the other animals at the Rainbow Bridge.

What a beautiful little bunny you were Keks, such a sweet and gentle soul who clearly loved his human as much as he loved you. I'm so very sorry you had to leave for the Rainbow Bridge at such a young age, so tragically, just as your happy life was beginning. But I hope your Dad takes comfort in knowing that every day of your life you knew how very loved you were, and though you are missed terribly, your spirit lives on his heart, and in the many happy memories you made together. Have fun Keks, running and scampering happily at the Rainbow Bridge with all of your beloved furangels, until that happy day when you and your family are together again!:love:
