Hey guys, I really think your prayers have helped Stevie. Thank you sooo much. Last night Stevie didn't have Diarrhea all night long   that never happened since we've had him. I really think his new food (Z/D Ultra) is really helping. He did have diarrhea this afternoon but it was thicker and had chunks (thats good) He's also off all his meds except prednisone and tagement. And I have more good news...one of the Vet Techs is most likely going to adopt him!!!! I am sooooooo happy. I Have included pic of "the Angel"below.
Thanks again everyone. I will continue to update you on stevie's progress
If you don't know Stevie's story read it HERE (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16046)

Thaks for all the prayers again. It means so much to me and Stevie.
Sadly Stevie has gotten worse. He's lost about another 3-5 lbs Last week he was doing fine. But on Thursday he stopped eating his Z/D so the vet said let him eat whatever food he wants. (he would never survive if he didn't eat for a few days) so I cooked him some rice + chicken for him. On Friday he ate the Chicken but wouldn't eat the rice. On Sat. He just wouldn't eat anyting. We tried every food we could think of. HE also had gotten SOOO depressed. He wouldn't lift his head. The Vet didn't think he would make it through the weekend. Stevie had given up on life. I was so depressed. I was getting myself ready to hear that he had died or that we would have to put him to sleep. The vet said he wouldn't be abe to put Stevie down, HE cares too much abut him. Someone else would have to do it. Everyone who meets him falls in love w/him.
But luckly on Sat afternoon the vet tech who's taking Stevie came back from vacation and took Stevie home with her.
On mon. we had better news. Being in a home envir. cheered him up. Danielle said on Sun Stevie ate 1lb roastbeef and about 3lbs of chicken. And he loves Liver. He loves to go for walks and he went to a dog park for the first time.
We don't know if Stevie will ever get better but as long has he stays happy is all that matters. I'll keep you updated
Oh ya the vet thinks that Stevie has this problem because someone might have fed him turpintine to kill intestinal worms!!  He found out that at some tracks they give the dogs turpintine because it's cheaper than regular wormers. Can you believe that?!!!!! just sick

Oh, no Stevie...:(:(:( Please, please eat for your new Mommy Stevie. You've come so far. I've fallen in love with you (as has all of your devoted caretakers) sweet boy and I can't get that beautiful face of yours out of my mind. Everyone here will be praying for you. You have a wonderful life to look forward to now, Stevie. But you need to get strong. Hopefully being home with Danielle will lift your spirits and make you feel like eating again. All our love to you Stevie. We're not giving up on you. Love, Sandra, Cody and Star

Oh, Stevie, you are so handsome. I'm glad that you are eating something. At that point, (no eating) anything is better than nothing. I know. I hope that you can get better. I'm glad that you have a forever home. Please get well.

Stevie made a REAL poop today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Danielle gave him a imodium AD this morning and by the afternoon he had his first real poop in who knows how long. The only bad thing is it might b too late. He looks terrible:( I thought he was thin before. Now his cheek bones are sticking out and he has trouble getting up and standing...but hopefully he'll put on weight quickly now that he has normal poopie. Wish him luck

Keeping Stevie in our prayers. I hope things will continue to improve for him. It won't happen overnight, I know, but maybe he will start gaining weight and improving. I hope so. :)

Miracles have happened around here before if anyone can remember how very thin Hope was. Wish I could give you a bit of my excess poundage Stevie. We are pulling for you, Stevie.
