NO - NO - NO
No wonder this bird is an endangered species. He's trying to procreate with the wrong species!

They are critically endangered, beyond the point where it is likely the species will survive. There are very few birds left in the wild at all, sadly, it is humans fault for bringing cats and rats on their ships that this ground-dwelling parrot was not prepared to deal with. The feral cats and wild rats eat both the adults (cats) and the eggs (rats), so it is a real struggle to save the Kakapo.

Yeah, guess it did sound a bit weird. I'll just say NO NO I would never go that far. And I think I'll leave it at that.
Maybe I smashed my head worse than I thought ...now you settle down Pom and get your mind back on track :D :D

What is that? It looks like a giant budgie. That must have been an interesting...experience to say the least.

It's a Kakapo, native to New Zealand and highly endangered.

These birds are SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!! He was lucky to be singled out, in my opinion!! hee hee!
I'm so sorry to think that they will not be around much longer. Such unique and beautiful creatures.
Besides, my sun conure tries that routine on everyone (except he likes hands). . .he's a little pervert! But we love him. :p
