Dear Friend,
May the Lord bless you for the care and love you've given Austen. It's obvious because of his longevity. Twenty years is a long run for a kitty but I've heard of some who go as long as twenty-five. Right now, we have a kitty, Erin, who is going to be sixteen this summer and her friend Tweeder is going to be eleven. Erin is a gray dilute tortoise shell. Tweeder is a tuxedo gray tabby. They fight quite often and it's not at all friendly when they do. Erin usually starts it; she just looks at him and it's like, "You get on my last nerve, you know that?" and there they go, with big, ol' Tweeder running slowly from her, hissing and growling, finally getting up on a chair or something like that and going on from there. If we don't break it up, Erin will keep picking at him for a good twenty minutes and the fact that she likes to start this junk very early in the morning or at bed time doesn't do anything for my nerves. Still, I love them both very much.
I pray Austin stays with you for a long time yet. May the Lord keep him well.
My love to all in my Blessed Savior, Jesus,
Jim Grayson

Wow! Austen you have to me one of the most adorable cats that has ever been on cat of the day ever ever ever! What a sweet little face. I just want to cwtch you to bits!
Enjoy your milestone, little gorgeous man.
We lost our 19 year old one year ago, and know the joys that owning an elderly cat bring. You may not play anymore, but who cares, you're way to wise for that now. I hope you enjoy your cuddles with your parents, they can give one for your for me too, and lots of smooches on that cute little face of yours.

What a beautiful boy you are, and how wonderful for your people to have had you for so long. They love you very much and whatever they are doing must be the right thing for you. I want to tell them about a product I recently discovered called "Tripsy" made by www.petwellbeing.com. It is for kidney problems in cats, which claims a lot of the older kitties. Just in case they ever need it for you. I so wish I would have known about it six years ago when my beautiful boy TJ died from kidney disease. He was 17 years old, and I would have given anything to have had a few more years with him. I read the reviews on it, and they sound really good, so that's just an FYI for them or anyone who might be dealing with kidney disease. God Bless you Austen, and many more years of happiness to you and your Momma and Poppa.
