In Loving Memory of "Jack"
2003? - February 16, 2011

Well, this is the 3rd loss I've had in the past 4 months... It's been so hard. :( I suddenly lost my Jack on Wednesday. We don't know what happened... we found him laying on his side that morning... He seemed fine the day before... It's especially hard because I'm just in the process of moving back home... I had looked forward to spending a lot more time with the rabbits since I've been fairly absent in their lives the past few months. :(

I had Jack for 7 wonderful years, I believe he was about 8 years old, possibly older? I can't believe he's gone... :( He was such a sweet boy. He showed up one day in February 2004 in our backyard, we fed him for a couple of months and then were able to catch him. I am so lucky to have had him in my life.

Rest in peace, Jack - now you go find Miss Hoppy, she'll know where the best parsley is, and where the dandelions grow. As we will never know how old he was when you found him - or vice versa, actually - he found you - you can rest easy knowing he lived a good long life, much longer than he ever would have survived without your love and care.

Oh how devastating. So sorry for your loss. He was such a pretty bun. I think it is more difficult when you lose them suddenly like this rather than when they are getting on in years and you are more prepared.

Casey loved bunnies. She will protect him at the RB I am sure.

I'm so sorry to read about Jack and also your other furkids. They leave us too soon, don't they? Jack had lots of love from you, though, and you can be comforted w/that thought. RIP, Jack and peace to your humans.

Thank you all for your kind words. It's been just over a month now and it still hurts like crazy. Miss my Jacky-boy so much... :(
