Hello, I am sorry for your loss. I know you did the best you could for Maroos and you loved her. It wasn't your fault that she was sick, and as you said, you gave her a loving home for five months. I'm glad she was chosen as POTD! Kay in NC
What a sweet little dude Maroos was, and what a unique little pet! Excellent advice as well about aquiring pets. I believe shelters or breeders are the way to go as well. I'm glad you had maroos to love and I'm sure the wee angel loved you as well, Peace and love, perfect Pet of the day!!!!!:love::love::love::love::):):):)

Maroos what a beauty you were!!!
I am so happy that your loving human took you out of that pet store. Because she/he did, you got to know love and have a wonderful home instead of having a miserable life. I bet you are at the Rainbow Bridge right now telling all the other animals about the kindness and love you received. Not every animal is so blessed. I know you will watch over your human and someday be together again.
Congratulations, sweetie, on being our very special Pet of the Day!!!

Precious Maroos~
What a beautiful little Chin you were, in body and soul; such a sweet little love filled face, with the prettiest lilac colored coat; the gentlest of spirits. I'm so, so sad to learn you were taken at such a young age, Maroos, that you were with your Mom but a few short months.:( I was teary reading your Mom's very moving tribute, and when I scrolled down to that last photo the tears really started to flow. Blessedly you were not left to languish in that pet store to live out your days alone and unloved. Instead, you found your way to your wonderful forever home and devoted human, knowing every minute of your time together how loved and cherished you were. And now you've earned your angel wings, scampering happy and healthy and whole once more at the Rainbow Bridge, waiting patiently for that happy day when you and your Mom are together again!
To the family of Maroos...Thank you so much for sharing your precious little one with us. I'm so sorry she's no longer with you, but how lucky she was to have been rescued by you, knowing only unconditional love, devotion, and the best of care. Thank you for loving her so, doing all in your power to heal her. What a most deserving, EXTRA SPECIAL, Sunday Pet of the Day she is, and we're honored to have had the chance to memorialize her and pay tribute to her, and all that she meant to you.

Beautiful Maroos, I am so sorry that you couldn't be with your loving guardian longer. At least you got to know what love and devotion are all about, and I'm sure you are thankful to have realized that in your short life. Your guardian shares an important message about not buying from pet stores; there are so many in need of homes at shelters. I wish you a wonderful POTD celebration at RB, and may you remain in your grieving guardian's heart forever, sweet Maroos.

Poor little Maroos, the cards were stacked against you from the beginning. Thankfully, your mom rescued you from the pet store and gave you love and the best care possible. You were a brave chinnie, Maroos, and will be remembered. The picture of you peering through the bars of your cage was precious.
