Aaww Trixie, what a gorgeous lady you are! And so smart. It must be a tuxedo thing ;)
My first kitty was a tuxedo like you. He, too, used to sleep on my bed at night. When I left home for University I was sad I could not have him with me and I thought he would "forget" me. But everytime I was back, it was just as if I had left 5 min earlier.

I so enjoyed reading your Mom's very loving, heartfelt tribute to her life long best buddy, her furry soul mate! What a lucky young lady, to have had a companion as devoted and loving and caring as you there by her side these many years, since early childhood; sharing the good times and the not so good, loving unconditionally and even helping her to mend when she was recoving from surgery!:love: I'm sure she's going to miss you so very much when she's away at college, but while you won't be there with her in body, no doubt she'll be carrying all of your love and the countless memories you two have made along with her, tucked away safely in her heart! And while counting the days to those happy homecomings and reunions, there's always Skype!:D How neat would that be, you and your Mom video messaging!:)

You are a gorgeous tuxedo lady! I love life with my 20 pound 7 year old male sammy! Those eyes seem to know our hearts and souls-you know? They are clowns and very protective and sweet. I adore the favorite pose of a tuxedo- on their backs with white paws and socks in the air-poised for the moment we look at them! They are big hams loving attention i know! Trixie-i know for a fact from experience that a cat is the best friend, thereapist, doctor person there is! I stick with the animals-more specifically-cats for comfort and intelligence! I know trixie will likewise miss you when you leave for college. Maybe you could send videos and texts, pictures across the miles while you are away-and that would give you some quality sharing?
