Has anyone heard from Terry (Daisy and Delilah)lately? She hasn't been on here in a week, either it is computer trouble or it is her mother who has Dementia and is not well.Any help would be appreciated.

I'm just seeing this. Thank you, Barry, for starting the thread and thanks to all of you that have posted. It makes me feel great to know my Pet Talk friends care!!:)
It is a combination of both things you mentioned, Barry. I am still recovering with what they think is a pulled muscle in my knee replacement leg. I never would have imagined this could be so incredibly painful and take so long to heal. I know I've used the term "pulled muscle" incorrectly in the past because I never remember pain like this in my life. The knee replacement surgeries were less painful. I am completely unable to walk on my own so I've been in the house for almost three weeks now, except for being taken to the doctor/hospital. Thank goodness for my walker and wheelchair.
I suppose my Mom is picking up on my emotions and this seems to be controlling her latest wave of increased agitation. I'm taking every spare second I get when I have help to recover. I can't wait to be able to walk again and get out for a change.
Thanks again to all of you. As I always say, this is such an awesome community!!:) You guys are fantastic!!!:D

Thanks, Kari and Elyse. I can't believe this pulled muscle is still giving me a fit like it is. I understand it could take a long time until I'm mobile again.:(
